[0:00]This EGO from Limbus Company is very, very cute, but actually reveals quite a dark secret about Meursault's character in a way you wouldn't expect! Let me explain! As you might know, Dreaming Electric Sheep is a reference to "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" A book about what it means to be "human", and you might have noticed that this book gets referenced a lot in relation to non-human characters in Project Moon. Like for example, Angela, a robot, Don Quixote, a blood fiend, and Meursault- What? Well, my dear viewer, there's evidence for why he has this EGO, and that Meursault is autistic. I mean, his behavior in The Stranger was frowned upon because he behaved out of the social norm. For example, he smoked at his mother's funeral and didn't appear to be upset, explained that he had no remorse for killing the Arab, was genuinely out of touch with his emotions, and much more. So technically he behaved not like a "human", but you can also relate it to Limbus as Meursault's EGOs reference his past with N Corp often. How he blindly follows orders like a robot, maybe the canned experience has something to do with this. But probably to keep his status as quote "This electricity is all I have left". There's more evidence for this too, like the cables in the art which Don doesn't have, referencing a potential crash out followed by a rest. Like the sheep had in the Mirror Dungeon event when you plug more cables in it, and most importantly, it referencing being stuck in responsibilities powering the City, like a corporation for example. But Meursault's "non-humanism" makes him feel envious of the normies, sadly.
