Upon returning and sitting down, the girl was so badly scalded that she leaped up instantly. Furious beyond words, she resolved right then and there that she, too, would learn to ride a motorcycle. She began by purchasing a mini bike for practice and eventually went so far as to join the police force. Everyone adored her petite motorcycle, yet, given her own diminutive stature, which often made her seem utterly inconspicuous amidst a crowd. Her colleagues could never quite suppress their laughter. She was, indeed, a truly endearing young woman. Ultimately, she even came to be recognized as the unofficial leader among the local street motorcyclists.
