[0:00]Hello, everybody. My name is Greg and you are watching the first episode of the tutorial series about making a multiplayer first-person shooter in Unity. So, in this episode, we're going to create the project and import all the necessary assets. And in the next episodes, we're going to use the Mirror networking solution to make this game multiplayer. And it's a very simple and easy to use solution, so I think you will be pleased. Okay. So, first of all, we need to create a new project. So, I'm just going to click on new. And you can use any Unity version from 2019 and up. I'm going to use 2020.3.26. And for the template, we're going to use 3D. For the name, I'm going to type multiplayer FPS tutorial. And I'm just going to copy the name and paste it here because I want to import all the assets to a specific folder, as you will see later on. So, I'm just going to click on create project. Okay. So, the project has been created and the Unity editor is open. Now, the first thing we're going to do is to import the assets. So, the first asset is the standard assets for Unity 2017. You can get it from the Unity Asset Store. Just go to the Asset Store, type standard assets, and you will find it. So, I'm just going to click on import. And then, I'm just going to click on all and then import.
[1:31]Okay. So, the standard assets have been imported. Now, the next asset we're going to import is the prototype by Pro Builder. Again, you can find it in the Unity Asset Store. It's a free asset. It's very useful for prototyping your game. So, I'm just going to click on import. And then, I'm just going to click on import. Okay. So, the prototype by Pro Builder has been imported. And finally, we're going to import the free FPS we are at pack volume one. Again, you can find it in the Asset Store. It's a free asset. It contains some weapons and sounds and ammunition and so on. So, I'm just going to click on import. And then, I'm just going to click on all and then import. Okay. So, the FPS VR pack has been imported. Now, we have everything ready to start developing our multiplayer FPS game. So, that's it for this episode. In the next episode, we're going to do some setup and we're going to implement the player movement. So, thank you for watching. Don't forget to like, subscribe and share and I will see you in the next one.
