[0:00]And I've been invited to a meeting with the subject advices for grade 10, 11 and 12 today at the Mandla Makapula Institute. So we had a mandate from the head of the department that we need to make sure that our underperforming schools, especially our high schools get special attention. It is a true fact that in the rush of everything and with the limited resources, sometimes our high schools gets neglected. So, this is a golden opportunity for inclusive education to take the knee and give special attention, especially to our underperforming schools. Uh, we have 174 mainstream schools, high schools, where we have under performance. We have a group of schools that have an average percentage of 30% and lower, and a group of schools that have an average percentage of 60% and lower and 70% and lower. So these 174 schools that we have identified, we are going to move out to these schools by our district based support teams, our psychologists, our occupational therapists, our speech therapists, and we are going to go to these schools and support them with regard to assessment so that these children will have an opportunity to qualify for concessions. Uh, psychologists and specialist assessments are very expensive and our resources are limited. And therefore we have taken the initiative to train all the teachers within these schools on basic reading assessment and basic writing assessment. Our subject advices will help us to support these teachers when they have the children in their class when they do these basic assessments. These assessments are easy, they're quick, it's a one minute reading assessment and a five minute written expressive assessment. But this will open the golden door of concession for these kids. We will make sure that at least 9,000 learners from these schools have an opportunity to to qualify for concessions. Concessions help children with disabilities to bring them on par with other children and give them an equal opportunity to express the knowledge that they have to make sure that we support them and so that they can uh increase their results at the end of the year. So we are very excited about this and we are highly grateful for the curriculum directorate support for exam support and then after all for the absolute wonderful support we're getting from the HOD Mrs Makula. Thank you.
