[0:00]Most players waste training points on the wrong GK stats. That's why their keepers keeps conceding easy goals. Sometimes it's not the rating, it's how you build him. Welcome to eFootball Lab. I'm Alamin and today I'll break down goalkeeper's play style, key stats, player model secrets that actually makes your keeper perform better in game. And I will also make a tear list. When we talk about goalkeepers, before their stats, the first thing that comes to our mind is their play style. There are two play styles for goalkeepers in eFootball. One is offensive goalkeeper and the other one is defensive goalkeeper. An offensive goalkeeper is like a sweeper keeper. He doesn't just stay on the goal line waiting for shots. He moves out of his penalty area to challenge the attackers, intercept through balls or clear danger before the opponent gets a chance to score. On the other hand, a defensive goalkeeper focuses on short stopping and staying close to the goal line. This means he usually remains deep in goal. He doesn't rush out often and his main strength is stopping shots and protecting the goal area. Now let's move to their stats. These are the six main goalkeeper stats. I have done multiple tests by changing goalkeeper stats. Giving you proven data for this test is impossible. And these are all my hypothesis based on my testing. Let's talk about jumping stats. Most tall goalkeepers comes with lower jumping stats. While short goalkeepers comes with higher jumping stat. From my test, jumping is the least important stat for goalkeepers. Many people think increasing the jumping will help the goalkeeper jump farther and save more shots. But jumping mostly helps when your goalkeeper is saving aerial crosses. Let's talk about goalkeeper awareness. From my test, this is one of the most important stats for a goalkeeper. Goalkeeper awareness decides how well a goalkeeper reads the game and position himself before a shot happens. It affects how he reacts to true balls, crosses and sudden attacks. Higher awareness means better positioning and faster decisions in dangerous situations. It also helps the keeper to adjust his angle to reduce the attacker shooting space.

Higher parrying helps deflect the ball to the safer area instead of back to the attacker. It reduces the chances of dangerous rebounds inside the box. Now GK reflexes, which is one of the most important stats for a goalkeeper. Goalkeeper reflexes decide how quickly a goalkeeper reacts to close range shots and sudden deflections. Higher reflexes improve his ability to make quick steps, especially inside the penalty box. It is very important against fast shots and one-on-one situations. Now the last stat is GK reach, which is also one of the most important stat for a goalkeeper. GK reach decides how far a goalkeeper can stretch to save the ball. Higher reach helps the keeper stop shots aimed at the corners, especially long range and curled shots. It helps cover more of the goal without moving too much. Now the most important thing for a goalkeeper is his player model. This includes his height, leg coverage, arm coverage, leg length based height, arm length and leg length. A taller goalkeeper will be always better than a shorter goalkeeper. Because due to his height, he can reach much more areas than a shorter goalkeeper. This is why even GP Courtois performs so much better despite having lower stats. Greater arm coverage means more of the goal is covered. And this connects to the GK reach stat. If your goalkeeper has good arm coverage, he can reach much more area. Greater leg length means the goalkeeper can reposition faster. This connects to the GK awareness stat. If your goalkeeper has good leg length, he can reach much more areas with his legs while making saves. Now for the tier list, I will put player model in S+ tier. GK awareness, GK reach and GK reflexes in S tier. GK catching and GK parrying in A tier. And jumping is in B tier. So, how should you train your goalkeepers? First, remember this is a football game. No matter how you train, your goalkeeper cannot save every shot. Always focus on these three main stats first and keep a good balance between them. Then use your remaining points on jumping. If your goalkeeper has high arm length and low leg length, then you can move one or two points from GK reach to GK awareness. And if your goalkeeper has low arm length and high leg length, then you can move one or two points from GK awareness to GK reach. Click here to watch more videos like this.
