[0:00]you have said that you have been called anti-Semitic because of your opposition to the US joining Israel in fighting this war. Yes.
[0:08]In March, senior Republican Senator Ted Cruz said, anti-semitism is being spread by loud voices, the most consequential of whom is Tucker Carlson.
[0:17]Republican Congressman Randy Fine called you the most dangerous anti-semite in America. What do you say to that?
[0:24]What the hell was the BBC thinking? Just who is this Randy Fine? He is the most unapologetically extreme racist elected to the US Congress,
[0:33]and he's beaten off quite the opposition. This isn't an exaggeration. Here are some direct quotes from Randy Fine:
[0:40]If they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one. Palestinian is just another word for demon.
[0:50]In reference to mainstream Muslims, he said, I don't know how you make peace with those who seek your destruction. I think you destroy them first.
[0:59]He said, there is no suffering adequate for these animals. May the streets of Gaza overflow with blood. He tweeted out, Palestinian equals Hamas. #BombsAway.
[1:12]He also tweeted Gaza must be destroyed. He also said, in World War II, we did not negotiate a surrender with the Nazis. We did not negotiate a surrender with the Japanese.
[1:21]We nuked the Japanese twice in order to get unconditional surrender. That needs to be the same here. There is something deeply, deeply wrong with this culture, and it needs to be defeated.
[1:32]As you can hear, he is a genocidal racist fanatic. If a politician had said similar statements about Jewish people, would the BBC be quoting them? No, they would not.
[1:42]They would quite rightly regard that as a scandalous thing to do. So what does it tell us about the BBC's attitude towards Muslims and Palestinians?
[1:52]How can the BBC possibly argue that they take racism against Muslims or Palestinians seriously after this?
[2:00]Of course, I'm not an anti-semite, and that's why they're calling me one, because my position on Israel has nothing to do with the religion or ethnicity of Israelis.
[2:10]It has everything to do with decisions made by its government that hurt my country. And so in order to avoid having that debate,
[2:16]the fastest and most expedient way to end it is by calling the person trying to raise it a bigot. And I just don't think that works anymore.
