[0:00]Today, we're going to be talking about Roseheart Fanatic Williams, a very popular damage dealer in Idol Heroes. We're going to tell you what he does, how to achieve that, what artifacts you should give him and all the transcendence heroes you want to build with your Williams. And then ultimately, destiny until you have seven destiny heroes and access to Nirvana. That's a lot of stuff and there's a lot of things you're going to learn today if you were hoping to be a Williams user. Now, if you're watching this and thinking, wait, what about Aspen or what about Mockman or what about Vulcan? Well, that's great. Hit the subscribe button because we're going to be doing this exact style of video for those three heroes as well. So if you want to go check them out, they'll be in a playlist with this one. Anyway, we're starting with Williams, so let's go. For Williams, your main objective is to trigger his active skills ability called Waterfall of Flowers. This happens when he consumes all layers of Blood-Soaked Flower when he has eight layers in total. This allows him to attack multiple times, dealing 3200% of attack damage to three random enemies. And every one time the enemy is attacked repeatedly, he'll do a further 2000% of damage. This is colossal. It is eight hits, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang to three different heroes, loads of opportunities to smack them. Now, some fun things about this active skill is each instance of hitting an opponent has a calculation to whether it crits or not. So, you need to be aware that to maximize Williams damage output, you need to crit every single one of these strikes. Which means it's going to take you a lot of attempts because statistically, unless your crit is like 90% plus, the chances that they all crit is going to be very, very low. And buffing crit typically comes at the cost of something else. So take for example, if we look at my heroes here, I've got an aligator over here. If I wanted to buff up her crit, I'd have to sacrifice one of my other imprint. And imprint are great, we've got holy damage, we've got skill damage, we've got crit. If I was to sacrifice one of these for crit, that would give me 35% additional crit, but we'd lose potential damage. So to maximize your damage output from your Williams, you unfortunately have to have a suboptimal crit number and then just try over and over again. But let's assume it all goes well. What does that Williams want to ensure the damage is extra potent? Well, for his stone, you're going to want crit, crit damage, attack. That's standard, right? Because the crit improves your chance of critting, the crit damage is going to give you maximum crit damage output. You actually want your crit damage to be at 150% to get the best outcome for you. However, if you already have 150% crit damage coming from other places like the Phoenix Pet, such as Anatalia, such as the Treasure Train, then you could actually run the holy damage skill damage stone on a Williams. Because this actually gives you the highest damage potential. Alongside that, there's a few good artifact decisions. Firstly, the artifact I would consider for any new player or early player, as it's one of the easiest to pick up, is going to be a Breath of Forest Spirit. You only need two copies of this. You don't actually need a splendid. So if you look at the Orma's workshop and we go into here, I'll show you what a glittery version looks like. This has 90% precision, great, that's going to buff our damage, attack percentage increases, 300% skill damage, which is going to buff every single instance of his hit, that's amazing, and unfortunately, it gives us 50 speed. I say unfortunately because Williams wants to be the slowest hero on your team typically. More importantly, it's also going to give you 9% all damage dealt at the end of each round and a little bit of all damage reduction, but that bit doesn't matter, it's just here to do damage. You might wonder why just glittery, but if I show you the splendid version, you'll see it's all the same. The only thing that's changed is we get a little bit of healing and more damage reduction. You don't need that. If your Williams is dying, you've got bigger problems. You want to be using breath of forest spirit just purely as a damage enhancer. So that is why breath of forest spirit is good. However, there is one additional thing that you have access to that could even be better than a Breath of Forest Spirit because there's a secret artifact in the game that not a lot of people talk about because it doesn't get as much love as it should. Uh I'm going to try and find it for you here. It's one of the older artifacts in the game. Take a look at this thing, Taboo Seal. This gives you 90% additional damage against rangers and 50% skill damage. That skill damage is tasty, it's going to improve your output, but more importantly, 90% damage against rangers means if you're facing a ranger opponent like a Valkyrie, you can just absolutely punch her into next week. And it gets better. There are artifacts for priests, assassins, mages. There's even one, I believe for warriors, which is somewhere else on here. Uh I I can't find it. It it exists, I promise.
[5:41]Um there it is, the Reaper's Scythe.
[5:46]These artifacts are perfect when you're facing a team who are all the same class or let's say there's three of them that are the same and the other three are not problematic heroes. It works against Valkyries, it works against void bosses. It's a delightful choice for your Williams to maximize his output. Either way, you'll notice all of these artifacts have one thing in common and that is they don't give Williams an active skill. Why is that important? Well, typically, your Williams appreciates doing a basic attack. That's because he can give himself layers of Blood-Soaked Flower and then come out round two with a massive active skill. This also gives your support heroes plenty of time to buff up your Williams so that when he does strike out in round two, the active skill is ridiculously enhanced. There are ways of making sure that he has many, many Blood-Soaked Flowers in round one and still gets a massive active skill in round one though. So, the way you do that is you'd run some Demon Bells. These can feed him energy. It's an artifact that you typically put on your support heroes, let me just show you for those of you that aren't familiar, Demon Bell is this one. It's going to give you energy when your support heroes do active skills, run enough of these, and you'll have enough energy on your Williams to do an active skill round one. Fantastic. Also, the enemies are going to need to get energy as well because poor old Williams needs these layers, but he gets them when enemies reach 100% of energy.
[7:18]And that is going to get you these Blood-Soaked Flower layers. Also, you're going to get three additional layers of Blood-Soaked Flowers for not starting with energy. That's really helpful. So actually, by running something like Melodic Strings, you're throwing because you're not getting these three additional Blood-Soaked Flowers from here. So technically, if you can get five opponents to get to 100 energy and you get your three additional, that's your eight layers. So, pretty nice. So with all that done, let's talk about the heroes that you want to pair alongside your Williams to make sure that this is possible. Now for the sake of this video, I'm going to assume that you guys have done the glory challenge. If you haven't already, you don't want to be worrying about who your main damage dealer is, but let's assume you have. You've got all ticks down here, you've got your many, many millions of spiritual essence, and you've saved up sublimation, you've got some decent artifacts, and let's for argument's sake, say, you've got three transcendency heroes now at your disposal. Before you have three transcendency heroes, you're probably just running around with a Wukong, that's this guy right here, or a Betty, perhaps even both. Because these are heroes that are going to be really, really strong for dealing with enemies because they can crowd control. If you want to enhance their powers even more, you could even run a Scarlet Queen Halora to do just that as her abyssal corruption improves your critical strike damage. Very nice, and she also gives you some extra all damage dealt, so good old support hero right there. Either way, that's what you'll probably be doing early on, but when you get to three transcendency heroes and you've done the glory challenge, we want to be running a team dedicated to Williams. Now, I argue, and I will say this pretty much for every hero in the game if they're a main damage dealer, that you want your main damage dealer, a support hero, and a crowd control hero because that gets everything covered. You've got damage, a way of buffing that damage, and a way of stopping the opponents so that you can deal the damage without any problems happening. We've got Williams as our damage dealer, so who are we going to bring in to make him stronger? Easy peasy. Williams wants to crit, so we'll bring a Scarlet Queen Halora with abyssal corruption. Make sure you've got an energy artifact on a Scarlet Queen Halora so that she does this and make sure she's faster than your Williams. She'll also bring a bit of all damage dealt, which is really nice. If you're looking for sublimation on her, you could even improve her active skill. This is very recommended as you get more abyssal corruption for doing that. Your other hero alongside the team is going to be either Betty or Wukong if you follow the rule that we want a crowd control hero. Betty is really, really bad. Why? Because Betty is going to steal energy from enemies. Stealing energy from enemies is the opposite of what a Williams wants. He wants those enemies to get to 100 energy so he can give himself those blood-soaked flowers. If Betty's going in there crowd controlling them, stealing their energy, oh no, you're not going to buff up your Williams. Your Williams is going to be trash. So instead, let's take a look at Wukong. Wukong has the ability, if you start him with an energy artifact, to stun enemies. Absolutely fantastic. This stun is going to last for one round, if you buff him up, getting that passive two sublime, this is all you need to sublime on a Williams. That then becomes two rounds, giving you that guaranteed chance to stun the enemies for two rounds, meaning that Williams can do his basic round one and then do an active skill in round two, or if you've built him as such, just do a massive active skill in round one. Delightful, whatever way you choose to do it, that stun buys you time. On top of that, Wukong has further buffs to your team's damage output by giving you holy damage, and he also with his active skill can decrease enemies defenses. Both of these are super good for improving your Williams output. So, not only is he giving crowd control to give you a window to attack, he's also buffing your damage, so Williams appreciates that. That's three heroes, Williams, Halora, Wukong. So now we need three more to get to a team of six. This is where things get a bit different. To be honest, you could build these three heroes in any order. There is not really a right or wrong answer. There's definitely arguments, and I know you're all going to have opinions on this, so let's just start off with the easiest to discuss right now, and that would be Williams's tenant, Madeleine. Madeleine is a very new hero and she has the ability to decrease enemies defenses. By actually giving you an ability to bypass enemies all damage reduction. Now, not all enemies have all damage reduction, it's typically only bosses, so it's not amazing, but there are small increases to your all damage dealt and there are increases to your attack as well. On top of that, she can give your team shields. If you already have shields courtesy of Wukong, she's going to buff you up further, and she can stun enemies whilst also potentially after her active skill is sublimed, she can remove crowd control as well from your team. All in all, she's pretty darned good, but she's not amazing. There's lots of heroes in the game that are better than Madeleine, so the main argument for building her here is because she's a tenant for Williams. However, given that the Grimwa is such a reliable way to improve the stats of your heroes, you don't necessarily need to have a tenant strictly on your account. You could instead keep the Williams super slow, not put him in a house, and actually prioritize some of the other heroes we're going to say a little later on. So Madeleine's great, but she definitely does have arguments for why you might not want to build her straight away. You probably be better building her as the sixth hero here, but I wouldn't be against building her fourth because she's pretty good. So what are our other options? Well, we've got Melissa. Melissa is stunningly brilliant. She has the ability to debuff enemy defenses, reducing their damage reduction and control immunity, absolutely delightful. She's also going to give you additional protection from crowd control because she spends her energy to free you with her passives, and she also can resurrect, which is extremely useful because it means she can take hits and die and then come back. And she also has some weird protection buffs she can give to your team as well, which is really, really nice. So all in all, I love Melissa. She's a great support hero, and you definitely can do a lot worse. But our final hero on this list is also really good, and if you were going to build her before either of these two, I'd completely understand. But you can build her at any point in this list. Natalie, freaking love Natalie. She's an amazing support hero, and she has the ability to buff not only herself, but your highest attack hero. She's got the ability when either your highest attack hero or herself drop below two low in HP, she's then going to do an emergency heal to keep those heroes alive, and yeah, she's just got so many cool abilities. Later on, you can even massively improve her output damage for your team by dealing damage to enemies depending on how many debuffs they've taken. So if you start running lots and lots of heroes that can debuff, Natalie can even start being a damage dealer in her own right. You can start using her against bosses for that reason. But early on, she's mainly going to be a support hero. What are the secret abilities of Natalie that a lot of people forget about is that she's able to repeat debuffs you've done to opponents. So Wukong, who debuffs enemy defenses, Natalie could be like, oh, that's really good. Um I'm going to I'm going to repeat this. So she can replicate two random attribute reduction effects on the enemy team. It's really neat. So for that reason, put Natalie underneath Wukong and Melissa in the speed order so she can replicate these effects for you. Also, subliming the active skill is definitely a good idea. Also the passives too is always going to make your Natalie much stronger. Good things to look at. Um so yeah, all in all, those six heroes are going to come together to be a really nice Williams team. Artifacts that you want to be running on these heroes are pretty much always going to be energy feed artifacts. So if you've got demon bells or elusive mirrors, they're going to be useful for giving energy to your team. Remember, if you're going for the round one active skill strategy, you're going to need multiple demon bells for that. Elusive mirrors feed you energy otherwise, which is really helpful. And if you are running Wukong as a crowd control hero, you can run a Dragon Ruyi scepter splendid, as this does have improved control precision and control immunity offset for that Wukong with a chance of giving him extra energy at the start of the fight, which will trigger his passive, allowing him to stun the enemies immediately, which is extremely good. So this improves Wukong's control consistency. So worth considering adding to your Wukong so you can stun opponents and secure the win more often. You do however, have to attack many, many times, as I said earlier with Williams, because that is the strategy, unfortunately for him, because the attacks aren't consistently critting, so you kind of want to be running stuff to give reliable crowd control because honestly, that's just another variable that's going to mess with you if you don't. Now, if you weren't convinced by Madeleine, there's an alternative option, Alikita. Alikita is often just regarded as a damage dealer for very late game players, but she does have some cool passives which can support you. When she dies, she can negatively affect opponents and also has some death passive abilities that deal damage as well. These reduction effects will benefit your Natalie if you're using her in boss fights. You can use the Alikita as a suicide hero to give more debuffs to Natalie, deals more damage. As well, Alikita works fantastically in PvP because passive damage is extremely useful. So if Madeleine wasn't your fancy and you didn't care about a tenant for your Williams, you could consider bringing in Alikita instead to slightly improve your PvP chances because Williams isn't very good at PvP otherwise, and also to give you some cool death passive synergy that can work alongside your Natalie. Definitely something to think about if Madeleine wasn't to your fancy. Either way, let's move on now to talk about focusing on Destiny heroes. Once you've reached level 120 in the Tree of Origin, you've got yourself a full core for your Williams, and you've maxed all his sublimation, you can start improving his destiny. Head along into the transition temple and start going and upgrading stuff. You'll notice to level up the transition temple, you're going to need multiple Destiny heroes, and the limit on your Destiny heroes level will be applied depending on the temples. So you actually can only build heroes to the third level of Destiny once at level one. A second can be built at level two, a third can be built at level three, when your temple is level four, you can finally go to the fourth level of Destiny. You also will notice this plus feature, this is giving you extra additional Destiny bonuses, which will improve your standing against your enemies, who already have their own Destiny, or maybe don't. It's called the Divine Power Gap and it increases your damage and your damage resistance, a very important stat to have when dealing with enemies the later you face in the game. Void Invasion Bosses, for example, have destiny and Divine Power Gaps, so it's definitely worth having some Destiny on your heroes if you want to have a good time against Void Invasion Bosses. Either way, to eventually reach temple level 10, you're going to need seven Destiny heroes in total. And temple level 10 is where you first get access to Nirvana. Temple level 11 still requires only seven Destinies and gets you a second Nirvana as well. So we'll be going under the assumption when we talk about Destiny heroes, that we're only worrying about who our first seven will be on our Williams account. Now, bear in mind, a lot of this could change, new powerful heroes could come out. Everything we've talked about earlier also is true for that statement, but assuming you're playing the game as this video came out, what would I do with the Williams account for my Destiny heroes? Well, I'd start off obviously with a Destiny Williams, pretty straightforward. But we need a second Destiny to go alongside that. Personally, I think Madeleine is your next best choice. Now, there's going to be people that don't like this. I know that one of my good friends Will, who's another Idol Heroes content creator, he doesn't like building Madeleine early on, especially as a Destiny hero because, really, Madeleine's main role is to improve your standings against bosses. It's not going to help you too much in Void Campaign, as as we said, enemies don't really have all damage reduction there, and in fact, it could be negative to you because the main problem enemy in Void Campaign is Valkyrie, and Madeleine can stun, which could work against you in that game mode. However, there are some strengths to Destiny Madeleine. Firstly, she's a tenant, so improving Destiny on her makes her much stronger, which means Williams is going to gain even more attack. Secondly, you get her core when you Destiny her, because you'll need this to do that. And Madeleine's core is pretty darned good. It's going to give you 2% all damage dealt for every ally who has shield that is no lower than 50% max HP. Considering you're running Wukong and Madeleine, your shields are going to be pretty high, so it's possible to get 10% all damage dealt when Madeleine does an active skill. Williams will definitely appreciate that. When this is further upgraded as well, that goes all the way up to 4.5%, which means it could be 45, no, uh what's half of 45? 22.5, yeah, 22.5% all damage dealt, and it's a two round all damage dealt buff.
[22:03]So it could actually get to 45%, which is pretty rad. So that is super nice, and yeah, Mechanix is absolutely right. You've got other heroes on the team too, like Melissa, who can give shields. So your shield total should be pretty good and this should be reliable. So this is one of the key reasons why we want to upgrade Madeleine. Also, her Destiny upgrades are not too shabby at all. She's got lots of decent abilities that will improve either your defenses or you can see you get some energy feed coming through here. You can see backline allies holy damage, let's go, so stick Williams on the back if that wasn't already obvious. Backline allies all damage reduction, that's delightful, or the all damage dealt of one ally with the highest attack by 15%. Where have we seen that before? Right. So there's some really nice Destiny abilities here on heroes like Melissa.
[23:53]Next, my fourth Destiny hero, or you could argue you could do these two the other way around. You could do Melissa fourth and this hero third, would be Natalie, right? Whether you're doing Melissa first then Natalie, or Natalie first then Melissa, I love putting these two heroes next to each other. And one key reason for Natalie is her Destiny trees actually pretty good. She's got some really nice abilities where she could steal energy from enemies, uh watch out for that though. Williams doesn't like that, so um maybe don't do that, maybe do some of the stuff that focuses on damage. More importantly though, with Natalie, she's brilliant at fighting bosses, and Williams isn't. Also, when you've got access to four heroes, you can now take your temple to a point where you get that plus two. So it's theoretically possible to have a divine power six Natalie at this point, which is a pretty hefty Natalie for dealing with void bosses. So the power spike here is pretty significant. You're going to have Madeleine who can help you with bosses and Melissa here too. And you're going to have all the support heroes that can come in alongside and your team will be pretty substantial. Now, if you enjoyed using Natalie as a boss killer so much that you want to carry on with this, this is where my fifth Destiny hero becomes really interesting. I would pick Stygian Twilight Vespara.
[25:19]The main reason for this is Vespara has the ability to debuff the enemy team. Natalie does more damage, the more debuffs are out there. Natalie also when you build her for boss killing, doesn't want to crit. She wants to be running balanced strike, which is an ability that specifically says if you don't crit, deal a ton more damage. Let me see if I can go find you balance strike for those of you that aren't familiar. You can find it here, and it says, if the basic attack or active skill crits, you heal. However, you will deal an extra bit of damage if you don't. Natalie loves that because it means all the components of her attack are going to get that damage enhancement, so she doesn't want to crit. She's just like, no, I want all my stuff to strike. And you might think, why? Critting's so good. Well, a lot of Natalie's ability can't actually crit. So all of those components, we don't want to crit because they can't crit, so we want to improve all of the damage in total so that Natalie can do as much damage as we want. So that really benefits her. She's a stupidly good hero if you build her properly, and by running Vespara, we actually can swap her with Halora. Because if you remember, abyssal corruption enhances your critical damage. For that reason, it's going to have no benefit for Natalie. So what you're better doing is running Vespara instead. So I like building Vespara as my fifth Destiny hero because I want to double down on fighting those void bosses. I want to give you guys the best opportunity with your Williams account to fight void bosses, because void bosses get you more Destiny materials. So, as your Williams is eating through Void Campaign and unlocking bosses for you to fight, if you want to have big fat ticks across the board, like I do, as you can see here, here, and here, you're going to need someone who's able to do that. And Natalie is a really good option. So building that Vespara fifth makes a ton of sense if that's your plan. However, there is an alternative option for dealing with bosses. Maybe Natalie isn't to your taste. Maybe later on, you want to build a Lord of Fear Aspen. He is the other really popular boss-killing hero, and in fact, he's cheaper to buy in the auction house than Natalie. So, more of a budget-friendly choice if you were looking for an A-tier hero, for example. If you were going to go with Aspen, Vespara doesn't make as much sense here. So if that was the case, I'd encourage you to Destiny your Scarlet Queen Halora. Now, I've already mentioned that Scarlet Queen Halora is really good, but one of the good benefits of Scarlet Queen Halora as well, is actually Hollow Campaign. You can pick up her core from here as you make progress through. You'll notice that at this point, we've already got four Destiny heroes. We've built Williams, we've built Natalie, we've built Melissa, we've built Madeleine. You can split them into two teams, make progress in Hollow Campaign, and that's going to get you those core shards for Halora. And for that reason, if you built Vespara, I'd go and do the exact same thing and build Halora sixth. So, if you're still keeping up with me, if Natalie was your boss killer, we'd build Vespara fifth, and we'd build Halora sixth. If you want Aspen to eventually be your boss killer, I'd build Halora fifth, then build Aspen sixth, right? That is the only difference here, and that sets us up so that when we get to our seventh hero, we can go with Star Alchemist Holmes Young. And Star Alchemist Holmes Young is an absolutely fantastic hero. Mainly because when he gets his Nirvana ability, it says, when an ally releases an active skill, he will trigger his passive if he has more than three layers of his transition power. It doesn't consume the layers, so when any ally does an active skill, he's going to do his entire Destiny Tree abilities. That means he's going to increase your ally with the highest attacks attack by 24%, so Williams gets a super mass bonus, and he's going to reduce enemy attacks by 15%. That is every time you do an active skill on your team. That is going to shred away enemy attack, whilst massively buffing up your own, turning your Williams into a god, and turning the enemies into chumpy chumpy losers. For that reason, Star Alchemist Holmes Young as a Nirvana hero makes so much sense. And when you build seven Destiny heroes, you now have access to Nirvana heroes. And with seven, you can not just get one, but two Nirvana heroes if you have enough Destiny materials. And this is going to be true for every single guide I make is I always want Star Alchemist Holmes Young to be your seventh Nirvana hero for that reason. So to quickly summarize, we do Williams as our first Destiny, Madeleine as our second, Melissa and Natalie as third and fourth in either order, and then I'd build Vespara alongside Halora if I wanted to use Natalie for bosses. Or alternatively, we'd build Halora alongside Aspen if we wanted him for bosses, and then of course, finally, we do our Star Alchemist Holmes Young to finish off the group. With all of that, you'll have a fantastic account. You've got energy feed, you've got your class specific artifacts, and you've got your Breath of Forest Spirit to shred enemies to pieces. And hopefully, you had a pretty good time in the process. You'll notice that some heroes didn't get destiny on this list. Heroes like Wukong, even a Betty you could keep, even the Alikita that we mentioned earlier. Those heroes are perfectly brilliant to keep at Tree of Origin. You don't need Destiny on them to perform well. You'll see some people Destiny Wukong or Betty or Alikita. The reasons for that are typically because they can't think of anyone else to Destiny, or because they want to use them as a tenant for somebody, or maybe they're wanting to use them as a main damage dealer. Unlikely. Unless it's Alikita, but if you're a Williams user, you're using Williams as a main damage dealer, so that's not you. Either way, you've got a lot of cool options, not everyone needs to be Destiny, but the ones we laid out should give you a lot of foundation. And uh Rebel's right, or just for fun. Also, this guide is just helpful for you. You don't need to follow this like it's strict rules, like neither you've just said. Adjust what you need to, depending on what you want for your account, what you think is fun. And not everything is necessary the best possible solution for you. Maybe you're really struggling against some crowd control opponents and you need Melissa to be built much sooner on your account. Or maybe you're not, you just need super tons of damage, so building Natalie as your fourth hero would make more sense. There's loads of flexible points here that I've tried to point out in the guide, and I'm sure there's more you guys can think of, and maybe there's like a really cool hero that I haven't even thought of that you think could be included as well. So let me know all that in the comments section, what you guys think, and I'll see you guys next time. And don't forget to subscribe for more of these guides, as I will be giving you a guide for Aspen, for Mockman, and for Vulcan, all for how I would build them with transcendencies and then eventually our first seven Destiny. And then after that, we're probably going to be looking at Alikita and how to use her as a damage dealer. But that's something for when you've got maybe eight or nine Destiny heroes, so not something immediate, but something to think about in the future. Either way, guys, I'll see you next time. Have an amazing week and as always, happy idling.
