[0:00]Why is this person forcing thousands of living fish into tiny cramped glass bottles? This looks like a bizarre science experiment. This is a betta fish farm in Thailand. There are 100,000 glass bottles here, and inside every single one of them is a betta fish. They manually cut a hole into the side of each glass bottle and then blast a high-pressure water hose straight inside to flush out waste in a matter of seconds. On top of that, these betta fish have to be fed one by one by the workers. It's insanely labor-intensive work. The reason they're raised this way? Betta fish are super aggressive by nature. If you keep them together in the same tank, they'll literally fight each other to the death.
