[0:00]Hey guys, welcome back to my YouTube channel. So in today's video, I wanted to talk to you guys about grounding, and before you click off this video because you've already heard things about grounding, stick with me. This might be a little bit of a different take on it than you've heard. So when it comes to grounding, the reason that grounding is so important is because it literally means that you are stable in your life. It means that you are walking on stable ground, that you are acting as a good receiver. That's the best way that I could put it. When you are grounded, you are essentially acting sort of like, I like to see it as like a lightning rod or something, you know? So a lightning rod stands straight, you know, and it's able to receive the lightning that's coming down and ground it. And that's also what you are, because it is your job to be a good receiver of energy. So that the energy that is flowing through you, this consciousness, has somewhere to go. Um, it has kind of like something to flow through that grounds it into reality. Like you are acting as the bridge. Because what tends to happen when you are ungrounded is that that energy tends to spiral in loop. Starts to loop and loop and loop inside your mind. You're trying to pick the right decision instead of just making a decision and calling it the right one. And you get stuck inside those loops, and you kind of lose yourself a bit. It's like you lose your balance, and when you lose your balance, that's where you get like those big emotional spikes where you're feeling a little bit chaotic and stuff, because the energy is unable to flow sort of like in a, uh, I want to say a straight path, as like my last video where I talked about, um, things in reality, like when you're acting in physical reality, things are organized into a linear path. Whereas when you're in your head, everything is happening all at once, which is why it feels so chaotic. So, excuse me, it's important that you are grounded in your life so that when new things come in, you automatically can just receive them. It's kind of like also having the space to be able to receive things, and to have space to receive things, it means you need time. Um, and to have time, it means operating in physical reality because inside the mind, there is no time. Everything's smooshed together, everything's happening all at once. So here you have time, which is space, aka it's kind of like you have these big open windows where you're like, hey, I'm open to receiving. So that means that the person that is going about their day, living their life in the present moment, you know, like just quite literally doing things in the physical world, focused on their life, is going to be much more able to receive than the person who's constantly in their mind all day long. Because when they're in their mind all day long, it's sort of like collapsing yourself, too. Like it's like you collapse yourself inwards, so you're not spread out over time again like I just said. Everything is just collapsed into a single point, and so there's no space to receive anything. You may have also heard the saying birds before land in manifestation. So birds before land is when people will see their manifestation outside of themselves before they receive it. And the way that I see it, it's sort of like you're seeing it in people where they are acting as a receiver, so they're able to receive that thing, but you are not yet, um, you know, you don't yet have the capacity to receive that thing. So it's like you haven't received it yet, but you're seeing it in someone else who's a good sort of like, um, again, like a good receiver. I don't know how else to put it. So you'll see it in somebody else first, because think of it like a bird that is quite literally flying around, and it's looking for a place to land. Do you think it's going to land in the space where it's wide open, and there's lots of room and it's able to land safely without an issue, um, or do you think it's going to land on the person, you know, who has zero space, whose mind is collapsed to like has no room for it? Like obviously, it's going to land in the space that is most obvious and clear to it. So, if you look at it that way, um, that's what it really means, is to be like this perfect landing spot for all the things I want to land in your life. You want to be this solid foundation for everything that lands in your life. So those tasks in your life that you think are sort of like pointless, um, like you don't really need to do them. It's like why would I do that when I just want to receive my desire, whatever, um, like cleaning the house, or going out with your friends somewhere, or like, um, going for a walk, all these sorts of things. Those are actually like very important activities, because those are the times where you're more likely to receive, because you're being present, you're being focused in the current moment. Anyways, I'm also going to use some quotes from the Bible. I don't always quote the Bible. You guys know that like, I'm not religious or anything like that. But I do like to read all different sorts of texts and the Bible has some good lines in it. So, I'm just going to quote you a couple that reflect this same idea. So, says from Proverbs 4:23, Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. So, um, it's this idea of being ready. And like the way that I see it in terms of guarding your heart is being here with yourself, like being aware and being here with yourself. Because if you're off in your mind somewhere floating away into wherever and getting stuck in like thinking about the future, and thinking about the past, and all this sort of stuff. It's kind of like your heart is left open without anyone to protect it, because you, your physical self is the protector of your heart, right? So if you're not here to protect it, it's kind of like it's just wide open to whatever wants to come in, and that's where you sort of like feel so um, chaotic and sort of all over the place because you aren't the one that's um, sort of acting in your own life. Um, I don't know if that makes sense, but it's sort of like when you're here in your body, when you're present and you're like, you're in your senses, um, it's like you are literally protecting your heart. Like you are like the masculine to your feminine, sort of. So that's one quote. And then there's another one that says, um, from Matthew 25:13, sorry if I say this wrong, parable of the 10 virgins. Therefore, keep watch because you don't you do not know the day or the hour. So that is another one. So it's this idea of staying aware, staying present, because as we all know, we never know when something's going to show up. We never know when something's going to arrive, um, and the best way that you can be prepared is literally just living your life, being here in the present moment, existing now, um, paying attention to what's going on around you. That's like the best way to do it. Um, and then there's one more that I think is like the best one. It says something about, oh sorry, I don't remember where this is in the Bible, but it's the eye is the lamp of the body. If your eye is single, your whole body will be full of light. So, that one I feel like is so important, because it says if your eye is single, which really means if you are one with yourself, like you are whole in this moment, which means like you are, um, best way I can put it is like you're completely aligned with whatever you're doing in this moment. So if you are, for example, doing laundry or something, that's what you're doing, you're doing the laundry. Like you're not, your mind's not elsewhere doing other things, it's just doing the laundry. Um, you know, as I'm making this video right now, like my mind is with myself as I'm making this video. That's where my mind is, right? So it's wherever you are, like your whole self is with you. That's like the idea that I see. So it's like all parts of you are focused on one sort of task all together. Like they're all working together in one specific thing, um, and you're letting the rest of you, your subconscious mind, do whatever it needs to do in the background. Because you don't need to control everything else in the background. If you are focused in this moment, I mean a video on this so long ago on my TikTok page, which I think really explained this well, it was this idea of a pen. And I said that like, um, what is the saying? How you do one thing is how you do everything. As in, whatever you're doing in that moment, like if you are focused on something, and you are, like fully there and fully present with yourself in the moment, it's like, it's like everything else is also like emanating that focus. Like you're operating, um, I don't know how to put this. It's like if everything is a fractal of this moment, it means that whatever you do in this moment is kind of like being done throughout all other areas of your life. So if you're focused in this moment, and you're working on something, and you're, you know, feeling just like neutral, present, whatever, like that's going to um, echo out to every other area of your life, even when you're not focused on it.
[8:59]So, what you do now is it's creating your future, like what you do now is your future, like what you do now is, um, affecting all other things. But like, in the best way. So, um, if you're present, like you're giving that same focus to everything at once, even without you having to consciously like be aware of that. It's like opening up a portal for your life to flow through in the present moment, like when you are singularly focused on the one thing that you're doing. So really what all this is about is stabilizing your energy. So stabilizing your energy happens when you are acting within your life and you're not getting stuck in the loops in the mind. And like this is coming from someone who went through a phase of being like, so emotional a couple years ago. I remember I felt so lost, so all over the place, and this happened because like I was living on my own at the time, and like I just felt like I had, I, I got lost in my head a lot more. I think a lot of us did during like, you know, the time of COVID and other things going on. Um, but yeah, I was very lost in my head back then, and I felt like I was just on a roller coaster constantly. And it's totally fine to feel emotions, like it's totally fine for your emotions to sometimes, you know, be ups and downs and whatever. I always talk about that, but just if you're feeling that all the time, like the best thing you can do for yourself is go do anything physical where your mind is focused on that one thing that you're doing.
[10:44]Um, and it can be simple things, it can be fun things, whatever it is that takes you out of your mind and brings you back into your life, because that's really what, um, everything that you are wanting to come into your life is just waiting for space to be able to come in. It's just waiting for you to be grounded and stable so it can land. All right, I'm editing the video right now, and I wanted to add a point here about taking action, even if you feel like you don't know exactly what to do. And doing something instead of doing nothing, like I said in one of my last videos, because the thing is that if you stay in your head, you're going to constantly try and figure out, like, most of the time spent in our heads, what I'm saying here is trying to figure out the right decision or the right thing to do, right? Like what's the next right move? But there really is no next right move. It's just you make a move, and then you learn from whatever you just did in the future. Like you reflect on it, and then that's how you make your next move. So that step is what's going to lead you to the next one. So instead of trying to figure out the whole path in your head, just take a step, and then that step is going to give you something new to reflect on. It's kind of like laying some ground so that the next you has something to stand on, okay? I hope that makes sense, rather than just staying in your head, because if you just stay in your head, you're never going to learn anything new. Like the person who tries and fails is going to have something to build off of, instead of the person that never tried and never did anything at all. So grounding is extremely important. That's the best way I can put it. I talk about this in my little course as well. Um, I always have said like, grounding is important, grounding is key, because that is how you receive. You burn yourself out more by staying in your head and looping thoughts, and you actually use more energy to do that than it takes to actually just go and do something without thinking about it. Like literally just going and doing something or anything. Like any small move. So burnout doesn't come from taking too much action. Like you can get tired, you can get exhausted, for sure, but the actual burnout comes from getting stuck in your head and going through a million thought loops, thinking about a million things a day, instead of just doing one thing. That means like, honestly, less, less effort on your part, because you don't have to think about everything else in your life. You don't have to organize all the background events. Your job is literally to focus on one thing and do that one thing. That's it. That's really it. Whether that's having fun, whether that's hanging with your friends, whether that's like walking around, whatever it is, it's just do that one thing. And and center your energy. And as I've said before, if ever you're feeling scattered, I said this in my last video, talk everything out. Get it all out here and drop it and and move forward. Um, that's how you'll start to feel, uh, grounded again, too. Like if you felt very lost in your head for a bit, like talk things out, bring them into the light, bring what's in the dark into the light. That is another key thing. Um, one other way you can look at it is that you are unravelling your life as you move. So if you are staying still and you're staying stuck in your head, your life isn't really unraveling, nothing's really coming into this reality. So speaking, like talking, uh, walking around talk around, um, I'm running out of ideas. I don't know what I'm saying right now. Speaking, walking, doing a sport, anything where you're in your physical body, like that is bringing what's in the dark into the light. So that is your whole point of this life is taking what's in the dark and bringing it into the light, right? Like unfolding your life. And you can't unfold your life if you just stay stuck inside all this time. So, anyways, I hope this video was helpful. Um, yeah. I think that's all I really wanted to say for it. Um, but yeah, let me know what you guys think, and thank you so much by the way for everyone who watched my videos who watches my videos to the end. I really appreciate you listening to all of my talking, and uh, thank you also to everyone who's, um, purchased like the course, or, um, donated, or, uh, you know, any, purchase any of the other little resources that I have. I really appreciate it, and I will see you guys in the next one. Okay, bye. I also just want to add a point at the end of this video talking about daydreaming, because I know some of you in the comments asked me about it in previous videos. So, in regards to daydreaming or being in your imagination, this video is not to say that you should never do that. That you should never be in your imagination, that you should never daydream. 100% do these things if it feels right to you, if it feels good to you. Don't force it, never force it, never like force yourself to go into imagination on purpose, like it's like a job or something. But as my name states here, it's the soul's playground. So remember to let yourself play sometimes, and I said this in my other video. It's kind of like giving your mind a break sometimes, where all the little pieces of you are allowed to be chaotic, are allowed to roam around and do whatever the heck they want to do. And so if you are fully present with yourself in that chaos, like you are fully present with your mind as it's, you know, going through these different things in your head and doing all these different things, then that's also like wholeness, right? That's still presence. It may not be grounded presence necessarily, but it's still, um, you being fully with yourself. So there isn't an issue with that. If it's not causing you to feel emotional in like a negative way, if it, if it's not causing you to loop on things or something like that, then it's totally okay and that's part of life too. You know, life is a balance between chaos and also stability and structure. So you're allowed to have both. So this video isn't by no means trying to dissuade you from still having those times with yourself in your imagination and sitting in meditation and letting your mind wander, because these things are completely okay if they are things that make you feel good and you are with yourself when you're doing them. Um, then yes, by all means, keep doing them.
