[0:00]Bismillah Rahman Rahim alhamdulillah Wa Salatu was Salam ala Man la Nabia bada w alaa Ali hi wa sahbi ajma'een. One favor of Allah upon you if you really would like to know one of the highest levels of connection with your maker. You can pray, you can do Quran, you can do azkar. You can do a lot, but there is a level higher than most of this without taking away the importance of what I just mentioned.
[0:37]And that is to lay full trust in Allah. To firmly believe that I can sleep at night knowing that Allah's going to take care of me. That is a favor that Allah blesses those who are close to Him. That is a favor that Allah Almighty blesses those who really and firmly understand who He is. If Allah brought you on Earth, wallahi, He will take care of you. So what is the ultimate favor you and I, as believers, are after? Always put a focus on that, it is none other than Jannah or paradise, nothing besides that. The ultimate focus, what is it? Don't you agree with me, it's Paradise? If you were to die right now, trust me people will cry for you, and some might be happy actually. But you know what might happen so many things will happen, if ultimately Allah gave you the highest levels or any level of Jannah and Paradise, let them cry, do you agree? Let them go through whatever, I want, and I'm waiting for you guys. So this is why when someone passes away, it's quite difficult to speak to those on Earth, because they're looking at the short term, and they're living in today. But we are talking of tomorrow, and we are telling them don't worry, Allah will unite you with your loved ones, because the Quran says that. Wa al-ladhina amanu wa atba'at-hum dhurriyat-hum bi iman al-haqna bi-him dhurriyatah. And a long verse, Allah says those who believe and their families follow them in belief. Allah says, we will connect the two together in the hereafter they are coming together, don't worry, don't stress, it's a temporary separation, like you go to work in the Middle East, for example, your folks are here in the UK, for example, it's okay, you get to, you will get to meet them at some point insha'Allah, they will come, you will go. But the example of the hereafter is far greater, what do you need to do, focus on paradise, don't worry, it's going to be a little bit of a struggle, whatever the struggle is, I believe Allah's going to take care of me. Now, let me tell you, Allah speaks about all things that move, and beyond that, all creatures of His. You see the fungus and the moss that actually grows, who feeds it? Did it go out looking for something, no, Allah brought it to where it was. Look at the ants, they make an effort, but Allah gives them that which is bigger than their own size. Something there, they cannot consume, but they carry it together and they go. I tell you my brothers, my sisters, in life you and I will go through challenge upon challenge, because the nature of this world is it was made for challenges. Wa lanablwanna. Long verse, Surah Baqarah, the first words of it, we will definitely, definitely test every single one of you. That's why you're here, what will happen? You will be suffering, struggling with a bit of anxiety, what's anxiety? It's a sense of fear of tomorrow, what might, might not happen, right? You will struggle with some health problems, you'll suddenly be told you have a sickness, you'll suddenly be told somebody's passed away. You've made a big loss, Allah says quite a few of these things in that verse, and Allah says Wa Bashirul Sabireen. Give good news to those who are patient, fast forward a little bit, the verse says, those are the ones who are going to go to Paradise, Allahu Akbar. These struggles are nothing, how much? what's the worst thing that can happen to you on Earth? You're going to die. That's actually the best thing that can happen to you as a believer if you're going to Jannah, we just spoke about it moments ago, right? So we look at things, Allah says, endure, for the endurance is what I want, but do you trust me? You want to get married, you say, oh Allah help me, help me, it's become difficult, as much as we have to be honest with you, we have thousands of options, compared to our parents and the earlier generations. We have tens of thousands of options, but it's become more difficult because life has changed, people are focused on different things now, right? Instead of looking at what you are going to put on the table, many people are looking at what the other person's going to be putting on the table, so it's tough. As you're making dua, trust Allah, so you do your best, you work hard, the God given capacity you have, it's okay, Allah's going to take care of me, I'm fine. You know what, life will change, sometimes we're in a comfort zone and Allah wants to give you something bigger and greater, and Allah wants to let you swim in the ocean, rather than the pool that you had, and Allah takes you out of that. So when you got out of it, you were very saddened because you don't know the bigger picture. Allah says, do you trust me? Law ananakum tatawakaloona allahi Haqqa tawakulihi la razaqakum kama yarzuqut-tayru taghdu khimasan wa taruho bita'nan. Beautiful Hadith, if you were to lay your trust in Allah in the correct way, he would feed you like he feeds the birds. How does he feed the birds? The bird goes out in the morning to make an effort to fill its belly, it comes back with a full belly, and it even comes back at times with extras. Allah says, you trust me, don't worry. You will go through a dip, fine, every one of us has to go through dips, not just once or twice in a lifetime, but rather, once or twice in the year. A wa la yarawna anna hum yuftanoona fi kulli aamim-marraatan aw marratayn thumma la yatubuna wa la hum yadhakkaroon. Do they not see that we test them once or twice in the year? Once or twice in the year, great test, at that time they were little skirmishes and wars, and in our little lives, it's all sorts of tests once, twice in the year. You might fall sick and ill, you might have suffered this loss, that loss, Allah says, they still don't turn, they still don't make tawba? Which means the whole point of Allah testing you is to get closer to Him, that's the point. When Allah tests you and you don't get closer to him, that's when you failed. But if Allah tests you and you lost the whole world, but you gained Allah, you have gained everything. That's the thing.
[7:05]If you lost everything but you gained Allah, you gained everything, and if you gained the whole world but you lost Allah, you've lost everything, that's the message I have for you today. Bear patience, don't worry, trust Allah, sleep at night knowing my date of death is written. Allahu Akbar. My sustenance is written, trust Allah, I'm going to try my best, Allah's given me a brain, a capacity, I will do this, and do this, and do this, but Allah knows that, at the end of the day, you'll apply your brain, you have a relation with Allah, you've got your five daily prayers, you've got your Quran, you've all the things I mentioned earlier, what all of that will do for you, it will maneuver you to a beautiful position of contentment. I don't mind, I lost a hand, Alhamdulillah, I lost a leg, Alhamdulillah, I suffered this way, an accident happened, I lost a loved one, I lost, whatever it might be, I lost a job, Alhamdulillah, something better is about to come, believe it. And the last word I want to tell you my beloved brothers, my sisters, is ultimately the best that is awaiting you and I is the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaus by the mercy of Allah. In the companionship of Nabi Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wasallam, do you know you and I are going to meet him Insha'Allah? You and I are going to meet all the Sahaba radiyallahu anhum one by one, the names we read, the stories we have seen, we will meet them wallahi one by one, we will sit our families, our loved ones, our forefather, we will be with them by the will of Allah. Have Yakeen, have faith, have conviction, understand, conviction is something that very few people are blessed with, they are the believers. Have faith in Allah, it's going to happen, a few days ago I spoke to an elderly man, and I said, one thing for certain, you must be sure that Allah will give you Jannah by his mercy, don't doubt that, why do I want to doubt. I am a sinful person, but did you not make tawba, sinful person, do you not believe in Allah, have you not worshipped Allah alone to the best of your ability and knowledge, good news, you're a good person, you're not evil. Don't let shaytan make you think you're evil because what happens at that point is on a globe where or in a globe where there is so much negativity, you start feeling hopeless and you turn away, that's what shaytan wants. Don't turn away, your days are beautiful, trust me a year from now, two years from now, you will be in such a position regarding whatever it might be that you're struggling with in your life. You will be smiling and say, I can't believe I was where I was, may Allah bless all of us with Jannah, may Allah grant us Jannah through his mercy, no matter how many deeds we do, the benefit of the deeds is to just earn the mercy of Allah. Your deeds won't get you Jannah, my deeds are not going to get me Jannah, they can't, they're not good enough, but what are they good enough for, they're good enough to get the mercy of Allah, that's all, it's the mercy of Allah that will take you to Jannah, may Allah Almighty grant us his mercy Allahumma ameen.
