[0:00]alhamdulillah in the name of Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala the most gracious the most merciful peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. My beloved brothers and sisters, the hardest test is not a storm outside. It is when you wake up and the storm is inside your chest. You open your eyes and yesterday's pain is still there. The same worries, the same silence, the same weight pressing on your heart. And in that moment a voice whispers, happiness is gone, but let me remind you happiness was never about having a perfect life. Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala never promised the world without trials. He promised something deeper, something eternal. He said, verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. Surah AR rad verse 28. That means peace is not waiting at the end of your problems. Peace can live in your heart even while the problems remain. True happiness is not faking a smile for the world. It is choosing to whisper alhamdulillah even with tears on your face because you know Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala hears you. Look at the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wasallam. He buried children, he faced hunger, he endured betrayal and war. And yet his companions described him as always smiling, always spreading hope. Why? Because his joy was never tied to Dunya. His heart was anchored in trust in Allah Subhanahu WA ta'ala so my beloved brothers and sisters, do not wait for a perfect day to feel peace. Perfection is for Jannah not Dunya. In this world there will always be pain, delays and tests. But happiness for the believer is a mindset, a choice, a direction of the heart. It is reminding yourself, if Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala is with me, I already have everything I need today. Today, choose light, not for the world, not for people's approval, but to uplift your soul. Smile for the sake of Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala, spread a little hope in your home. And remember every step you take toward patience and gratitude is seen, loved and rewarded by the most merciful. My beloved brothers and sisters, happiness is not something that falls into your hands by chance. For a believer happiness itself is an act of worship. It is not about endless laughter, perfect health or a world without pain. True happiness is when your heart is connected to Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala. So many people chase joy in wealth, in status, in likes and followers, yet they still feel empty. Why? Because these things fade. The more you chase them, the more they run away. But the believers joy is different. It is anchored in something unshakable, the love and mercy of Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala. Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala tells us clearly, indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them are gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great success. Surah al Buruj verse 11. Notice how Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala ties joy not to possessions, but to faith and good deeds. Happiness in faith means you stop waiting for the perfect life to begin living. You understand that even in hardship Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala is guiding you. Even in delays, he is protecting you, even in silence. He is listening to you. This mindset transforms the heart. Instead of asking why me, the believer says guide me, strengthen me, forgive me. The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam showed us this reality. He did not live in luxury. Days passed when his household had no food except water and dates. Yet he was described as the most smiling, the most hopeful, the most uplifting. His secret was simple. His heart was tied only to Allah Subhanhuwatala. And this is where true freedom begins. When your happiness depends on people, you will always be disappointed. When it depends on Dunya, you will always be restless. But when it depends on Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala, nothing can take it away. So my beloved brothers and sisters, remember, happiness is not about what you own. It is about what you hold inside your chest. A heart that remembers Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala, a heart that trusts his plan, a heart that says alhamdulillah in every situation, that is a heart that will always find peace. My beloved brothers and sisters, every soul in this Dunya carries a burden. For some it is grief, for others it is loneliness, poverty or uncertainty. And when the weight becomes too much, we start to believe that we are abandoned. But listen to the words of Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala. Indeed, with hardship comes ease. Surah ashar verse 5 to 6. Notice how Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala does not say after hardship comes ease. He says with it. That means your relief is born in the same moment as your pain. When the storm arrives, the mercy is already forming with it. You may not see it yet, but Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala has already written the opening. Think about your past. How many times did you feel like you could not survive, but here you are today? That itself is proof that Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala carried you when you thought you would collapse. He is carrying you now too. The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wasallam lived this reality when he was rejected in Taif, when his enemies threw stones at him until his feet bled, he did not curse them. Instead he raised his hands and turned to Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala with words of patience and hope. His body was in pain, but his heart was alive with faith. That is the believer's path. To see hardship, not as a punishment, but as a bridge. And do not mistake your tears for weakness. Even the Prophet Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam cried when he buried his son Ibrahim. He said the eyes weep and the heart grieves, but we only say that which pleases our Lord. This shows us that sorrow and sabr can live together. Crying does not mean you lack faith. It means you are human. Faith is when even through your tears, you still trust Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala. So, my beloved brothers and sisters, when the pain feels endless, whisper to your heart. This storm is not forever. Hardship is not my identity. It is my test, my polish, my chance to grow closer to Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala. And if he promised that with hardship comes ease, then ease is already on its way. My beloved brothers and sisters, one of the most powerful keys to happiness is gratitude. Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala gives us a clear promise in the Quran, if you are grateful, I will surely increase you. Surah Ibrahim verse seven. This is not just about more wealth or more blessings. It is about an increase in peace, perspective and closeness to Allah Subhanhuwatala. Gratitude is not about pretending life is perfect. It is about training the heart to see what is already present. Every breath you take is a gift. Every time your eyes open in the morning, it is a new chance, the ability to pray. To whisper a dua, to feel the warmth of a smile, these are blessings we often overlook, but they are treasures. Many of us wait for big victories before we feel thankful. We think when I get that job, when my dua is answered, when my pain ends, then I will say alhamdulillah. But the secret of the believer is different. Gratitude is not reserved for the future, it is practiced in the present, especially when life feels heavy. The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wasallam showed us this with his life. Even when food was scarce, even when he faced loss, he would wake in the night and say, oh Allah, I thank you and I praise you. His gratitude was not based on comfort, it was based on remembrance. That is why his heart was always in peace. Gratitude also protects the heart from jealousy and comparison. When you look at others, you may feel like you lack. But when you look at what Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala has already given you, you realize you are rich in ways the world cannot measure. Try this small habit every night before you sleep. List three blessings aloud. They can be as simple as your family's laughter, the gift of prayer or the ability to breathe. When you repeat them with alhamdulillah, your heart begins to shift. Problems may remain, but your perspective changes. Gratitude does not erase pain, it makes it lighter. And remember my beloved brothers and sisters, even the ability to say alhamdulillah is itself a blessing. Gratitude opens the doors of mercy, increases Baraka in your life and invites peace into your heart. So do not wait for everything to be perfect. Begin now. Smile, thank Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala and see how your heart softens. My beloved brothers and sisters, one of the greatest sources of happiness for a believer is the power of Dua and dhikr. Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala himself promises in the Quran, so remember me, I will remember you. Surah al baqarah verse 152. Imagine that the Lord of the heavens and the earth remembers you when you whisper his name. Dhikr is not just words. It is medicine for the heart. When you say Subhanallah, you are freeing your heart from pride. When you say alhamdulillah, you are training your heart to see blessings. When you say Allahu Akbar, you are reminding yourself that your problems are never greater than your Lord. And when you say LA ilaha illallah, you are anchoring your soul in the truth that nothing deserves your fear, your love or your hope more than Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala. And then there is Dua, the believer's weapon. The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said, Dua is the essence of worship. Every time you raise your hands, you are admitting your need, and you are placing your trust in the one who never turns away. Even the shortest Dua, whispered with sincerity carries weight. Ya Allah, make it easy. Ya Allah, guide my heart. Ya Allah, protect me. These simple words can change the course of your day and sometimes the course of your life.

[12:09]Do not think Dua only works when it is long or eloquent. Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala looks at the heart, not the length of your sentences. Sometimes one tear in Dua is more beloved to him than hours of empty words. Sometimes one broken whisper of ya Allah is heavier than a thousand speeches. And even if your dua is delayed, do not lose hope. Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala responds in the best way, sometimes with what you asked for, sometimes with something better, and sometimes by protecting you from harm you never even saw. Every Dua is heard, every whisper is recorded, not one is ignored. So my beloved brothers and sisters, keep your tongue alive with dhikr and keep your hands raised in Dua. These are lifelines that connect your heart to the one who can heal, provide and protect. My beloved brothers and sisters, the state of your mind shapes the state of your heart. If your thoughts are filled with fear, envy or negativity, your heart begins to feel heavy, restless and hopeless. This is why Islam teaches us to protect not only our actions, but also our inner world. Shaitan often begins his attack with a single thought. You are not good enough. Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala will not forgive you. Your pain will never end. But these whispers are lies. Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala himself reminds us, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Surah AZ zumar verse 53. Guarding the mind means being careful about what you feed your thoughts. If you constantly scroll through negativity, compare yourself to others or surround yourself with people who gossip and complain, your soul will absorb that darkness. But if you fill your time with Quran vicar, hopeful company and words of encouragement, your soul will begin to shine with light. Even the way you speak to yourself matters. Many people are their own worst critics. They tell themselves, I am failing, nothing is working, I will never be happy. But the believer learns to reframe. Instead of I am failing, say I am learning. Instead of nothing is working, say Allah is preparing something better for me. Instead of why me, say guide me, ya Allah. The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wasallam taught us emotional discipline. Even on days of sorrow, he would not let sadness control his heart. He cried, but he also prayed. He grieved, but he also smiled. This balance is the strength of a believer. One way to protect your mind is to begin and end your day with remembrance. In the morning, say ya Allah, protect me from sadness, laziness and anxiety. At night recall three blessings you experienced. This simple habit trains your thought to notice mercy instead of only pain. My beloved brothers and sisters, remember your thoughts are like seeds. If you water negativity, it will grow and consume your peace. But if you water gratitude, faith and hope, your heart will blossom with tranquility. Guard your mind as you would guard your most precious treasure, because the heart follows the mind, and both belong to Allah Subhanhuwatala. My beloved brothers and sisters, one of the most beautiful Sunnahs that shines brightest in times of pain is the Sunnah of smiling. The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wasallam faced trials greater than most of us can imagine, loss of loved ones, rejection, hunger, battles and betrayal, yet his companions remembered him as a man who was always smiling. His smile was not because life was easy. It was because his heart was anchored in trust in Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala. That smile carried hope. It lifted the people around him even when his own chest was heavy. This is the Sunnah of strength, not denial of pain but resilience rooted in faith. The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam taught us your smile for your brother is a charity. Imagine that, something so small, something so effortless is written in your book of good deeds. And when you smile in hardship, the reward is even greater because it comes from patience. Smiling does not mean you are ignoring your grief. Even the Prophet Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam cried when his son Ibrahim passed away. His eyes shed tears, his heart grieved, but he still said words that pleased Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala. This shows us that sorrow and sober can exist together. A believer's strength is not to hide emotion, but to let faith guide it. Sometimes your smile is not just for you, it is for someone else. In a world where so many people carry silent pain, your gentle presence, your hopeful words or your simple smile, might be the only light they see that day. Do not underestimate this gift. What feels small to you may be huge for someone else. And remember my beloved brothers and sisters, smiling in times of struggle is a declaration of faith. It tells the world, yes, I am in pain, but I trust my Lord. I will not let this storm steal my hope. This is emotional strength. This is tawakul and this is the Sunnah. So when your heart is heavy and your eyes are tired, try to carry your hardship with grace. Cry to Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala in sujud, but when you rise, greet your family with kindness. Speak with gentleness, share light even while walking through the dark, that is the prophetic way. My beloved brothers and sisters, sometimes we think happiness and peace will only come through big changes. A new job, a new home, a major life event, but in Islam, some of the greatest treasures are hidden in the smallest acts. Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala says, so whoever does an Adam's weight of good will see it. Surah AZ zalzala verse 7. This means even the smallest effort, if done sincerely, carries weight with Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala. A smile given to your family, a gentle word when you want to be harsh, forgiving someone even when you are hurt. Giving a small coin in charity that no one else notices, these simple moments are drops of light that build a radiant heart. The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alayhi wasallam taught us that consistency matters more than size. He said that the most beloved deeds to Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala are the ones done regularly, even if they are small. Why? Because small acts done with sincerity shape the soul every single day. They transform your character quietly until one day you look back and realize your heart has softened, your faith has deepened and your life feels lighter. Think of vicar saying Subhanallah 33 times, alhamdulillah 33 times and Allahu Akbar 34 times before bed might take only a few minutes. Yet those minutes fill your heart with calm and your record with mountains of reward. Think of Dua, one whispered, Ya Allah, guide me, in the middle of your day might be the reason your heart is protected from something unseen. Think of kindness, a message of encouragement, a check-in call to a friend or helping a neighbor. These actions may seem small to you, but they are huge in the sight of Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala. My beloved brothers and sisters, never underestimate what looks small. In the eyes of the world it may be forgotten, but with Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala, nothing is forgotten. He records every step, every word, every act done with sincerity. So begin today with a small act. Plant one seed of light, because with Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala, even a single seed can grow into a tree of mercy that shades you on the day of judgment. My beloved brothers and sisters, too many of us delay our happiness. We tell ourselves, I'll be happy when I get married, I'll be happy when I get that job, I'll be happy when my pain ends. But this mindset keeps joy always out of reach. The believer learns a different truth. Happiness is not something you wait for at the finish line. It is something you carry step by step when you walk with Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala right now. Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala says, hey, and whoever relies upon Allah, then he is sufficient for him. Surat talak verse three. When your heart depends on Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala, you walk supplied with strength, patience and purpose. The world may think you are behind, but in reality you are exactly where your Lord wants you to be. Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala also tells us, indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Surah al hujurat verse thirteen. Not the wealthiest, not the loudest, not the most followed, but the most righteous. The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam walked this path.

[22:45]His happiness was never delayed until comfort arrived, even in hardship, he chose to trust Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala. His peace came not from circumstances, but from his closeness to his Lord. And that is the lesson for us. True peace is not found in Dunya, but in the journey with Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala. Walking with Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala means living your faith daily, even in small steps. Waking for Fajr on time, lowering your gaze, guarding your tongue, saying astagfirullah at night before sleep. These are not just duties, they are steps closer to the one who promises peace in this world and eternal joy in the next. My beloved brothers and sisters, do not let society measure your success. The world counts money, titles and appearances. Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala counts sincerity, patience and taqwa. So stop postponing your joy. Do not wait for life to be perfect. Begin today with Allah by your side. Every prayer, every act of patience, every breath of gratitude is part of this sacred walk. And when you walk with Allah, every step, even the painful ones, take you closer to Jannah. My beloved brothers and sisters, words only become powerful when they turn into action. Happiness, peace and faith are not just feelings you wait for, they are choices you practice every single day. So today, I invite you to a challenge. A seven day heart reset, seven days of simple habits that can transform the way you think, feel and live. Morning routine. When you wake up before you touch your phone, whisper alhamdulillah for three blessings. They can be as small as the breath in your chest or the warmth of your blanket. Then recite even one short verse of Quran. Start your day under the shade of Allah subhanahu WA ta'ala's words. And make one specific dua. Ya Allah, guide my steps today. Remember what Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala promised, indeed, with hardship comes ease. Surah ashar verse six. Begin your morning believing that ease is already on its way. Midday action, choose one act of kindness. Send a message of encouragement, smile at someone, share even a little charity. Do it quietly, not for applause, but for Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala. The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wasallam taught us that the most beloved deeds are small but consistent. These small sparks of goodness light up the soul. Evening routine, before you sleep, take two minutes for Dhikr. Subhanallah 33 times, alhamdulillah 33 times and Allahu Akbar 34 times. Then write down one lesson from your day. Maybe it is patience you practiced or mercy you showed or a blessing you noticed. End with astagfirullah and entrust your night to Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala with the words Hasbunallah wani 'mal wakeel. Allah is sufficient for us and the best disposer of affairs. Why this works? Because happiness is built, not stumbled upon. These small steps anchor your day in remembrance, protect your mind from despair and open your heart to gratitude. After seven days you will feel lighter. Your worries may still exist, but your heart will not carry them the same way. You will carry them with faith and never forget. Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala says, if you are grateful, I will surely increase you. Sura Ibrahim verse 7. Gratitude invites increase, Dua invites mercy, dhikr invites peace and trust invites strength. So my beloved brothers and sisters, do not delay. Begin your 7 day reset now. Let your tongue remember Allah Subhanhu WA ta'ala, let your heart soften with gratitude, and let your actions reflect the Sunnah of the Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam. And as you walk this journey, pray sincerely, ya Allah, fill my chest with light, fill my days with peace and fill my life with purpose.
