Quinlan Tian | “Find Joy in the Journey”

[0:01]Hi, my name is Quinton and I'm from Edina Elementary school in the state of Washington as a fifth grader. The image shown on my right is called Finding Joy in the Journey, and this painting led me to National's first place. It shows that even though I love swimming and I always enter swimming competitions, I never come in first, and this has bothered me for quite a while. But even though it's bothered me and made me unhappy sometimes, I realized that what matters is not coming in first place or last place, but instead simply finding joy in what I love, which is swimming. Here in this painting shown up here, it shows me, my brother and a few other animals in forest. I drew this one when I was really young, and this led me to National's second place. And last, in this picture shown, which I'm not finished yet, but I'm currently working on, it shows two foxes, one over here, and another one over here, in a forest. This is for the Youth Bot Life Art contest.
