That's kind of insane that you got both giant shows in the same studio. Well, it was insane. Yes, that the two most impactful shows for me. Yeah. were on the were finishing up on the same stage. That's why he I know because this is the last of the comeback too. It's a picture of you with the I think they have a plaque outside. And then, yes. Oh, I I tried not to cry cuz I never would have stopped. Warner Brothers put the comeback on the plaque. That's friends. That's Mike and Molly. That's the Friends reunion and then back. Oh, no. No. Oh, no. I didn't want to see Kudro cry. Don't cry on our show. Okay. I won't. Uh, but that really it's got to be just it's I I I don't know how I can't describe it. You Yeah, no, and then also what you don't know is that my son, I got pregnant, gave birth and he was five when we finished, but all on that night, and not all on that stage, but you know what I mean. It was that time in my life. I didn't miss that episode, but yes, I Well, I got pregnant, gave birth and yeah. Well, he was five on friends. He was five when we left, and he was on he's on he's in the comeback, and all of his stuff was on stage 24. Oh my gosh. So I didn't even realize how much it would be. Memories. Kind of overwhelming and great. Oh, and fantastic. The best memories. There was a picture of you in front of that fountain where obviously you made the iconic, uh Friends opening where you're all wet and dancing in the fountain. Yes. Uh, was that always the idea to be soaking wet and dancing in the fountain? Well, I guess at the end, they saved that for the end. I mean, yeah. Look, I'm all for fun. Talk to me. Give me the scoop. Yeah, but yeah, that was We had already shot a show, and it was late, and they went, so now we're just going to run over to the ranch. It wasn't on the Warner Brothers lot. It's a separate thing. Yeah. And we're just going to do the openings. They'll be really quick. Oh, okay. It was not quick. Yeah.

You're so funny in this show. And this your characters loosely based on something you used to do with the groundlings? Yeah, loosely. Yeah. I did a character monologue. Remember at the Groundlings, a character monologue. The groundlings is a great improv troupe in LA. No, no. Sketch and sketch comedy. Sketch comedy. I love them so much. Yeah, I'm love You were telling me uh Kathy Griffin was a teacher there? Yeah, she was not my teacher, but I learned to teach under her, and she was the most nurturing, fantastic teacher. I love hearing that. Yeah, she was great. So you so so everyone, if you if you go to school there, or class there, you learn how to and you started developing characters and and So this is where So I wrote a monologue. I was not a crowd pleaser there, but um, well. You have a great reputation. For at the Groundlings? Okay. Oh, yeah, you're the star, man. Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway. So I had this um, character called Your Favorite Actress on a talk show and yeah, she had a short red wig, but it was just to make fun of how self-important she was. So what was what was she doing on talk shows? So she well, uh so she's like finally back on Johnny Carson after not being on for a very long time because Johnny Carson had this show. That's right. That's thank you, Johnny. Yeah, absolutely. She was on this show. Oh my God. Are you getting It's all happening. What if I start crying over that? Oh yeah. I'm going to start crying now too. Cuz then we're nuts. I know. Then we're actually too lunatics. Yeah. And so, but her thing, she'd make a big plea about, you know, what's so important to her is saving the planet. And then she would just like, people, people, please, save the planet. As a favor to me. I love you. Just for me. Yes. She's so important. Yeah, yeah. Right. Like, I'm an actress. Everyone wants to please me. It did feel like that for a while ago. It's great. It's very, very funny. Uh, uh, what's happening, uh, the season and what is going to happen for the finale? Do you have do you know do you for the finale? Because this is the you've said this. This is the last season. You're not doing this again. This is the end. No. Really? You're so good. Well, yeah. Because you but Someone saw it. Yes. Oh, but Someone saw it. No, no, yeah. Yes. We all saw it. We all saw it. But I mean because you have the perfect ending, you think? I think so. It's so full circle, and I don't know, a couple people have seen it that that said I got to go back and watch seasons one and two. I have to rethink everything now. Oh. Very good. Well, I make it you'll be so disappointed now. No, no, no, no, no, no. We're not doing the same like, you know, no, the whole thing was a dream or alternate reality. No, it's not. But just. Oh my God. They're so good. And we've got so many like fun We didn't have famous actors before on it ever cuz you needed to believe That your character is famous. That that everybody's a real person, the reality and stuff. You made me laugh because the first I'm not no spoilers, the first episode of the comeback. You are uh Valerie and you were your big deal. You're coming you're stepping into uh Chicago on Broadway. Yes. And you're Cuz there's a writer strike, so there's nothing to do. But Yeah. Then you realize how much work goes into it. So much work. It's so much work. Right. Of course it is. Yes. And she's not good. She shouldn't be doing Broadway. No. It's very, very good and very funny. No.
[8:22]So she pretends someone else's Covid test is well. So you're for all in trouble now. No, it's Yeah, so that's that's yeah. But then what happens to your characters? She finally gets a job. She wants to do a sitcom so bad. Oh, yeah. She's offered a lead in a sitcom. So you're like, yes, you did it. Yes. Yeah. Here's the catch. Uh it's written by AI. That's right. So what what do you feel? That's kinda the of this. See you're desperate, but you go, am I that I can't do I can't. No, all the writers will hate me. That's That's what that strike was about. Yes. But it was so so it's but you played it so well. Right. Then the head of the network says, oh, no, we've got writers, and we've got the, you know, we're good with the we're within the, um, rules. Yeah, exactly. Within.
[9:07]But then you kind of being the producer and the Yeah. You're the most evil person. You gotta really make a choice. Yeah. It's just very, very funny. I want to show a clip.
