[0:00]Guys, I'm an idiot. I've spent millions of dollars trying to not die, and this whole time I've had toxic turf in my backyard. So today we ripped it out. Artificial turf leaches chemicals that include PFAS, PAH, and heavy metals. These are linked to systemic inflammation, hormone disruption, and cancer risk. Artificial turf also contains crumb rubber infill made from recycled tires. And guess what? It gets even worse. I just found out today that when they laid the turf, they also put a layer of silica, which is another toxin. Awesome. Sh**'s worse than we think. I put ice on my balls for longevity, and somehow I missed the cancer risk in my backyard. We're going to make this a non-toxic space and document the whole thing. I hope the grass is greener on the other side. Also, that it's not made of tires.
