[0:00]We play with a lot of bands and one of the questions everyone asks is where do you get your band name? And uh you'd be surprised how many bands say, I don't know, it just sounded good. Um and that's kind of disappointing a lot of times when you hear that. And so we've always been intentional about every aspect of the band, especially the uh the band name. Some background, just the short version of where it came from. Um I was studying a play and in that play, someone made a decision and they sent out faulty airplane parts during the war and 21 pilots died because they sent them out. Um then that person who sent them out is the main character. Um he tried to justify why he sent those parts out, um and he ultimately ended up committing suicide at the end of the play. And it is a constant reminder how we apply it kind of to our band and every night that we play. It's a constant reminder that you have to make the right decision even though it may be the hard decision. Um and uh it seems vague, but you'd be surprised how many times that applies to uh a band's life. and just an individual's life. My mom always told me that sometimes you just, well, not sometimes, all the time, you just got to do what you don't feel like doing. And uh it's just something that we live by and it's a lot easier to work hard when you're playing as a band name that that says if you don't feel like working hard tonight, you have to anyway. So that's that's kind of what the band name means.
