Beatrice wondered why, in the EMT field, magic was prevented from being activated. Magic formulas were dismantled before they could be completed. It was a cheat level power. If someone could still cast magic inside of EMT, it would only be possible by someone like Roswell or her mother, Kidna. Beatrice asks how he broke through EMT. Tiger says he put his body on the line. Tiger stood up, sword in one hand, and his other hand was against his side. His side was carbonized and burned. It looked painful. Beatrice asks what he was thinking, and Tigar said he had to do something. The burn on his side didn't come from outside of his body, but instead from the inside of his body. And they were the flames that engulfed Subaru and Kruch. EMT dismantles magic inside of the field. However, to bypass that condition, magic generated inside of the body isn't classed as inside of the field. As a result, Tiga scorched his side also in the attack. Tiga said he realized because he could still use float techniques that this would probably work. Beatrice says to injure himself means that he must have a reason that is more than a simple duty. Tiga says it feels like Beatrice is calling him insane. But he says he cannot blame her. Beatrice knew Tiger for a day or two. He had an easy-going attitude. However, now he was calculating, discarding himself to achieve an objective. What drove him this far? Beatrice was reminded of Roswell. Tiga says he's doing what he can to take back his life. Tiga says he is shocked Beatrice hasn't attacked him. And Beatrice states that what he did was calculated. Tiga says that Kroosh refused the final ultimatum, so he had to act. He was cold, emotionless. Beatrice had the first impression of him as being a bit goofy, but that first impression was now gone. Beatrice, however, doesn't condemn Tiger. She understands why he made that choice, even if it meant getting Subaru caught in the crossfire. Beatrice says that she made her choice to side with Kroosh, because Kroosh was the person that saved Subaru. Kroosh held the unconscious Subaru in her arm, and cut through Tiger's flames with her other arm. Since Beatrice and Subaru had a connection, Beatrice knew that Subaru was safe. Tiga then asks Beatrice to reconsider, since Subaru would be implicated. But Beatrice clicks her fingers. Beatrice states that she once lost a friend by going with the flow, and now she will no longer do that, and she'll follow her own path. When her fingers clicked, the EMT field was disabled, and Kroosh then used her signature technique, causing destruction. By the way, the friend he's referring to is, of course, Rezuushima. The scene changes. Subaru tried to organize the new information in his head. Sorry, not Rezuushima, I mean the original Rezu. Subaru tried to organize the new information in his head. Subaru says the situation is what it is, so it can't be helped. Kroosh was holding a dagger to Subaru, lowered her arm, and said, "No wind blows." Kroosh says that since they appeared at the mansion, no lies have emitted from Subaru. This is also why Beatrice is allowed to be with them. Kroosh possessed the divine protection of wind reading, allowing her to read emotions and act as a lie detector. Meaning it's probably what led her to kill others. Subaru asks what Kroosh wants to do. She says to deal with the traitors, as it will be her last thing to do. Subaru asks what that means. Kroosh asks if Subaru will insist that it isn't the case. Kroosh says that she was ill due to the witch cult. Then, she was saved by the Divine Dragon Church, despite her pledge. She asks Subaru if he believes that she has a chance of winning. Subaru starts to speak, but Kroosh says that she can feel the wind of understanding. Meaning that Subaru knows that Kroosh has lost the royal selection. Kroosh says Subaru is an honest man. Beatrice tells Kroosh to stop acting like a tragic heroine. And then tells Subaru to stop getting upset over things that isn't his fault. Kroosh says that she wants a cooperation, the cooperation of Natsuki Subaru, the one that helped her defeat the White Whale. Kroosh states that the country has many traitors that have infiltrated, so she needs Subaru's help. Subaru asks if she has her memories back, and Kroosh says, "Does she look like the weak, frail girl that existed before?" Kroosh says that question is almost an insult. Subaru was conflicted, joy and anger. He liked that Kroosh was back, but didn't like how she berated herself with amnesia. Subaru says that he liked both Krouches. They were both Kroosh after all. But Kroosh says that a Kroosh without her memories is not Kroosh Castin'. And that's the reason why Felix abandoned her. However, Subaru in his mind disagreed. Felix simply chose his love for the living over his love for the dead. It's just that Kroosh simply didn't understand Felix's resolve. Before they could continue talking, they hear sounds. People chasing them. Voices. Subaru says that they should talk, but Kroosh says it won't work. Because her sword was left at the crime scene, meaning that the sword wounds would match her blade. Not only that, Tiger would have reported that Subaru was complicit with Kroosh. Kroosh threw her lantern into the sewer water. As it sank, the light dimmed, and Kroosh ran. What would Subaru do? Chase Kroosh and believed that there is this dark conspiracy? He had to make a choice. Beatrice says that whatever he chose, she would be by his side. After all, Subaru always made his choice into the right answer. Subaru says that he will believe in Kroosh. And Beatrice says that she will follow him no matter what, even saying that she wouldn't mind being sealed away with Subaru for 400 years. Subaru says he does mind that. For those that don't know, this is, of course, a meme that Saki, if Subaru is indeed sealed for 400 years. Subaru runs forward, shouting out for Otto to make it all work out. The scene changes. At the same time in the guest house, what should have been a normal day where they finally were going to heal the people of Priestella, something changed. They were waiting for Subaru and Beatrice, who were out on an errand. What does this situation mean? Otto asks. There were some sudden visitors. The guests were royal soldiers. Garfield stepped forward. Saying just because Emilia is soft doesn't mean they can barge in and be disrespectful. Otto tells Garfield that they're guests for now. A voice booms, telling them to lower their voices, asking if they know not who before they stand. Immediately, all of the royal knights stood straight and parted. Marcos walked forward and greeted Emilia. Marcus bowed down and made eye contact with Garfield and Otto. Marcus asked Emilia to come to the royal capital. Since there is something urgent happening. Emilia asks Marcus, "What is it that Marcus wants to confirm?" And Marcus says it's the identity of the knight that is Natsuki Subaru. Even though Marcus asked nicely, there was no choice to refuse. Marcus continued, "Knight Natsuki Subaru is under suspicion of having strong ties to the witch cult." Possibly even being similar or an archbishop. This was the turning point which would decide if Subaru would become the enemy of the world. And with that, the chapter ends. So crazy twist. Yes, indeed. The Royal Guard think Subaru is a sin archbishop. I wonder why they think that? Because of the smell? Again, this is I'm going to be honest, I'm actually liking the arc quite a lot. Now, of course, in my last video, I said the flames were going to be by Salem or Puka. I was wrong. I'm actually I'm actually glad that I'm wrong. Because if it's predictable then there's no enjoyment. So, I'm trying to speculate what's happening. Why all of a sudden do they think that Subaru's a part of the witch cult, or Subaru might even be a sin archbishop? This is crazy. Um, again, we need to think about this idea that Krush is talking about these traitors inside of the capital. Traitors in what regard? Traitors in the sense that it's Again, I keep thinking about Melty's Evil Eye of indoctrination, the idea that she's touching people and making them uh, bend to her will. That's the reason why Krush can detect the lies, right?
[11:13]Because if they're being controlled, then she can detect the lies, so she kills them and considers them traitors, which means that Capella is, of course, going to be behind this, and she's infiltrated. And Capella, of course, knows that Subaru has the stench of the witch. And uh, she thinks that he's pride, so she could, um, that she could be pulling the strings. And making Subaru to be an enemy. Again, because the idea is to knock everyone out of the, uh, Royal selection, right? So, Subaru is, of course, Tiga can say, "Well, I attacked Subaru because he's a part of the Witch Cult." And Kroosh got knocked out, so what's the case going to be for Anastasia? We know Priscilla has been knocked out, because she's dead, right? So, it's just Anastasia left. Unless I'm forgetting someone, which I don't think I am. Uh, yeah. So, that's it. This is Capella's goal, to knock everyone out of the, uh, witch cult. And so, now Subaru's been de-legitimized. If you remember before, my prediction was that Kroosh has her memories, so now they could, um, offer this royal sacrament to restore Rem's memories. But that doesn't seem to be the case now. Now, Subaru's being, uh, he's being essentially framed as a sin archbishop. That will knock out Emilia, because she's partnered with a sin archbishop. So, it's just Anastasia left. But Anastasia, as we know, um, she had the whole thing with Julius getting his name eaten. So, I wouldn't be surprised if Anastasia's going to lose credibility. So, it's not looking good. And even Tiga said, by the way, if you remember before the hiatus, Tiga said to Melty, after Melty left, that they're one and a half years behind everyone else.
