[0:00]Why is it that you have no control over your anxiety as a Christian, you feel completely disconnected from God and I bet you are numb. You are at this point where you're living up and down, good for a week fall, good for a week fall, and it feels as if you're never gonna change and you don't even know if God is still there for you. And it all comes down to your perception. Your perception shapes your reality. You are not reacting to your reality, you are reacting to your interpretation of reality. Your perception has been trained over time by things that people have told you, by things that you have learned. And whatever that is, it is always going to present itself in the physical world. If you shift your perspective, you will shift your reality. Your reality is simply just a reflection of your perception. Your thoughts, your decisions, and your identity is always going to align with the story that you tell yourself. The thing that you believe is always going to reflect itself in the external world. Your brain is always looking for data to prove what you believe is true. Our brain never wants to challenge what we believe. So, so if you believe I have anxiety, I'm not enough, I'm still a sinner. I could lose my salvation if I don't do X, Y, and Z, then you're gonna filter your whole reality just to fit that narrative so it agrees with the thought that you believe about yourself. Your brain is gonna find data for either side. So you have to pick, do you want to be the negative side or do you want to be the side that sees reality through the lens of, everything is working together for my greater good, as it says in Romans 8? So now I'm gonna filter reality through that lens. So even when I fail, even when I mess up, even when I'm insecure, I'm gonna understand one thing. It was never about me, it was about Jesus doing it for me. So I see reality through the lens of I'm already righteous, I'm already perfected, I'm already made new, but now I'm catching up to that truth because I'm renewing my mind and I'm reinforcing this proper identity daily. And now I'm in a place where failure doesn't define me anymore. So I'm not scared anymore, I'm not living in scarcity anymore, therefore my results can reflect an internal place of moving from security and abundance. Your reality is shaped by your belief. John 16:9 of sin because they believe not unto me. The actions, the results are a byproduct of the belief of what you see life through. So if you keep moving from this perspective of I'm not enough, I have to earn my way to God, then you're gonna move from an internal place of insecurity and that's gonna show itself in the external. But if you move from a place of I believe in what Jesus did for me and what he made me. I believe I'm righteous, I believe I'm perfected, I believe I'm powerful, created for good works. Now you're gonna move from that identity and the actions, the results will follow as a byproduct. You become somebody by rehearsing that person and aligning with that person time after time after time and slowly but surely that's going to become your autopilot. That's going to become the person you operate from. But until you rewire this, learn how to do it, move from this place of security from identity not forward anymore, then you're gonna keep filtering your reality to your own perception. And your own perception is gonna be negativity, feeling like you're not enough, and that's why you want to change so bad, but you can't change. So this needs to be the number one priority.
