1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TubeScript ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TubeScript uses AI to transcribe YouTube videos directly from their audio. The Service generates formatted transcripts with timestamps and also offers AI-powered summaries and key points extraction for paid subscribers.
3. Free and Paid Tiers
- Free tier: 3 transcripts per calendar day (UTC). No account required.
- Pro ($9.99/month): Unlimited transcripts, AI summaries, key points, priority processing.
- Team ($24.99/month): Everything in Pro plus REST API access (100 requests/day) and bulk processing.
All paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
- Use automated tools or bots to access the Service outside of the provided API (Team plan)
- Redistribute or resell transcript data in bulk as a competing service
- Use the Service to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
5. Intellectual Property
Video content and captions are owned by their respective creators and YouTube. TubeScript does not claim ownership over any transcript content. The TubeScript brand, website design, and original code are the property of TubeScript.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of transcripts complies with applicable copyright laws and YouTube's Terms of Service.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that transcripts will be 100% accurate, especially for auto-generated captions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TubeScript shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Refunds
We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with the Service, contact us within 7 days of your subscription start date. We want you to be happy with the product.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
