[0:00]Hello, everyone. This is Alan from GoThru, the best platform for publishing tours to Google Street View and for creating custom virtual tours for businesses and real estate. Uh, in this video we're going to take a look on how we can fix tour published from Matterport to Google Street View. What happens is sometimes you publish the tour from Matterport and the navigation is missing. Uh, and also what may happen is the even the images are not connecting to the Google My Business page. So, what can we do in those case? We use GoThru.

[0:43]We're going to switch now and take a look at the tour that we have. It's a Warby Parker tour. We're going to copy the business name and we're going to go into our GoThru account. Uh, if you're the first time when you're in GoThru, you're going to see this. Uh, and what you want to do is you go to, uh, Advanced and click My Tours. And then we're going to import from Google. Yeah, because the tour is already on Google. We don't need to create a tour in GoThru. And best is we're going to import from the map. And we're going to put in, uh, like in this case for Matterport, you import from the map. And we're going to put the business name in here. The business finder will find the business. We click on it. If it has multiple location, we can have the business name, the address and then we're going to select. And this is, uh, where the business is, like this uh Warby Parker. And we're going to select the account. In most of the times you're going to have only one account. But if you don't have an account, uh, you would go to, uh, Street View accounts and connect your, uh, GoThru account with your Street View account, so we can import the images from Google. And, so, yeah, I'm selecting the Warby Parker account and I'm clicking Import. And import is in progress. And let's go ahead. We see the tour was already automatically created by the import function. And we're going to access it and we have 14 images. The import is pretty fast.

[2:42]Uh, but again, Matterport tours can be quite big sometime. So, if, if the, the images are not there yet like GoThru, one minute or two. Uh, and we're going to take a look at the images from Google. And if we click on a sequence number, we're going to notice two things. One, the Place ID is missing, and the Place ID is the ID that links the image to the Google My Business page. So, if that is missing, the images won't display to the Google My Business page. And the second thing is we notice, like this is on Google, all this information it's coming from Google. And if we click Next, we're going to see that there is no connection. Like there are no connections. These are from Google. So, no connection. Okay. Now we go to under Edit, under Tour Details, and we see, like GoThru didn't receive any connections from Google. Yeah, that's that's missing. Uh, and in that case, what we have to do, we have to click on 360 image connector. And we have to connect these images manually. Now, it's not too hard. But there is no other way, um, to connect. Like we tried to investigate if there is a way to, to know the order that these images were, uh, published, like captured, but there is no hard, nothing we can tap on and say, okay, that's that was the first image and that was the second image and so on. So, we cannot know how you shot this tour. And because of that, we cannot auto-link these images. So, what you do is just, uh, this is the, uh, moderator that GoThru has and allows you to connect. Now, because the image is already in place, we don't need uh, the top-down view. And we do not need to see the unconnected images. So, I'm going to click on expand mode. And then we just link adjacent images. So, we, we are on number one. We hover over nine and we have the dotted line and then we just click on the dotted line. And click on nine. And then we do the same. Hover over five, click on the dotted line. And click on five. Probably. Yeah, we can zoom in. The same. Hover over four, click on the dotted line. And you see, the, the navigation start to show up. So, we can already navigate between these images. Uh, probably two and then seven. Yeah, so, I'm not going to click on the arrow. So, that's good. So, we're going to just continue like this. It's going to be pretty fast. Uh, oops, I did connect that with that, and it shouldn't. So, you just go ahead hover over and click and connect.

[6:10]The angles are already in from Matterport, so we don't need to change anything and this will give us a clean, uh, tour with not overconnected panoramas. Yeah, because that's one of the issues that also Matterport has, it overconnects everything and it's it's a mess, like when you start navigating, uh, it can be quite, um.

[6:40]So, now what that we have this, all we have to do is just click save and then we're going to click Publish button. And in, in the case, uh, in this case, uh, if you don't if you have a pro account, you'll just be able to publish. But if you do not have a pro account, you will have an unlock link here and with the unlock it's like $14, you pay once for this tour. And once you pay, you have to come back and publish, you will see the publish button and you will be able to publish the the tour. So now we're going to click publish.

[7:22]And, uh, it will be pretty fast. Uh, GoThru is, uh, just needs to do an update. So, no upload is done. And we can see, like if you look on on here, there is, there are no 360 images. So, if I'm clicking here, there are no 360 images. Because the Place ID was missing. Uh, and GoThru, when we publish, we put this link, this tours into a queue. It takes about two minutes, I think to to be picked by the by the queue. And once we, we are done, you're going to start seeing the images here. And you already start seeing them, you see? Now, the navigation it doesn't show up yet, and it doesn't show up because uh, Google needs about, normally about two to three days to process this navigation, uh, and then it will display. So, we just published this now. We're going to wait two or three days and then we will be able to navigate the tour on Google. And yeah, because this was just an update, GoThru finished publishing pretty fast. And you actually, uh, get an email when, uh, the tour is published to Google and you're going to be able to see. Sorry, this is an email. Uh, yeah, the tour was published and you can view it on the map and we have the link to the Google My Business page.

[9:09]Okay. So, uh, this is how you can fix the Matterport tours that are missing the navigation and they are not linked to Google My Business page. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@gothru.co or yeah, we have a live chat on GoThru and you can just come here. Uh, and uh, talk with us. We have the live chat here and you can contact us and, yeah, uh, let us know if you have any problems. We wish you a good day. Take care. Bye-bye.
