[0:00]Are you new to the game and need your first PvE build, or just looking for an easy one to make? Well, you've come to the right place. Hello, I'm Trey Monster. Today I'll teach you how to make your first PvE build.
[0:08]If you learned from this video and you are a deep woken fan, make sure to like the video so it can reach more people and subscribe to get more of my videos in your feed.
[0:16]If you don't like my videos, you always have the option to unsubscribe later. This build is not the best build in the game by any means.
[0:20]However, this is the build that I made in order to learn the vast majority of PvE content in this game, so I'll be showcasing it to newer players or people needing an easy to make PvE build so that they can do the same.
[0:31]This build has gotten me to Wave 25 in Deluvian. I have not tried further yet, but I should soon, honestly, Deluvian is kind of fun.
[0:39]So newer players, once you get used to Deluvian, you are going to be able to farm a few good relics such as moon side totems and idols of Yon Shole.
[0:46]For bosses, I have not tried Titus and Medi or Kier's Guard champion with this build, and I have not tried Parasol with this build.
[0:54]But with this build, I have learned every other boss in the game, and I hope once you make this build that you can do the same.
[0:59]The only prerequisite that cannot be done after starting your build is selecting your origin, which for your first build, I highly recommend using the Ignition Union origin.
[1:06]If you don't know how to unlock it, my video is in the top right or the first link in the description, and that'll show you how to unlock the Ignition Union origin as well as any other origin if you're interested.
[1:15]There are still a bunch of pre-recommendations I have, though, if you are trying to make this build as easy and as good of a build as possible.
[1:20]First, the multifaceted Echo Upgrade is a lifesaver if you have innate points that are being used and stats that are not important to your build.
[1:29]For instance, while making this video, I purchased Deepwoken on a completely new account so I could do this video as a quotunquote new player.
[1:35]And I got the Etrian race because I do not use intelligence in this build at all. I have three wasted stat points that could be used to help the build instead.
[1:43]Multifaceted makes it so you can take these points out and use them wherever you want at the cost of 250 echoes.
[1:48]You do not need these extra points to make the build work, but there will be some small sacrifices in the build. If you need an Echo's guide, I will leave a link in the description.
[1:55]Secondly, just to get it out of the way, this build will be using Flamecharm and Frostdraw as the attunements of choice.
[2:00]You can only unlock one at first when starting the game out, but you can unlock all the other attunements through quest.
[2:06]If you have not chose your first attunement yet, I highly advise choosing Flamecharm and then unlocking Frost through the quest, as I have learned the hard way, that is much easier than starting with Frost and then doing the Flamecharm quest.
[2:16]I will show you how to do both of these quests later in the video. There's another Echo upgrade called Elementalist.
[2:20]This is the same as Multifaceted, but for attunements, and it allows you to select as many as you want instead of selecting two.
[2:27]The second part isn't needed, but otherwise you are forced to have 10 points if you start with one attunement or if you select both, it will split between 6 and 5 points in both of the attunements.
[2:35]If you absolutely want to minmax this build so that all the points are going to all the right spots, and you do not have Elementalist, you will have to do both quests and start off with attunementless.
[2:46]If you are not worried about each and every tiny fragment of your points going into the correct spots, then you can completely ignore this, and the build will still work out fine.
[2:54]Lastly, I recommend having Willpower and Fortitude unbound before doing this. This can be easily done during making the build though if you do not have them unlocked.
[3:02]For your starting weapon, choose the battle axe, as this will use heavy weapons.
[3:06]For your first Boon, you are always going to run Steadfast for that armor durability.
[3:10]And secondly, you can either run autodidact to level up faster or you can also run survivalist to last longer in layer two against parasites.
[3:19]For your flaws, you are always going to want to go obvious and squeamish. Obvious just makes enemies detect you from a slightly further range, and squeamish will drain your food and thirst whenever you kill something.
[3:30]Although later we will get Carnivore to completely negate this effect.
[3:34]Alternatively, if you don't mind leveling up slower, and if you don't mind getting a fourth of your knowledge taken when using Moon's Eyes, then you can choose to just take simple.
[3:42]Once you are completely leveled up and have all your build mantras and talents set, there are going to be no downsides.
[3:48]Before I show you the stat order, I will show you how to unlock Flame and Frost as mantras.
[3:52]If you are missing one or both of these attunements, then you need to get these before Power 10.
[3:56]The Flamecharm trainer is located at Songseeker Wilds. He will tell you to obtain five dying embers and bring it back to you for the very first time you do this quest.
[4:04]The easiest way to obtain them is to go to Upper Erisia and spam the Authority Patrol mission.
[4:10]Authority soldiers, which are the ones in all gray armor, have a good chance of dropping the dying embers when they perish.
[4:15]After you do this quest for the very first time, you will only need two embers every time you do this quest on a different slot.
[4:20]It works the exact same way for the Ice trainer, but she is located at Etris, and she will need five frigid prisms instead, which you can easily get from eliminating Navee NPCs at the Navee camps.
[4:31]You can either pay or grind the reputation you lost back in the future when you grind out the prisms.
[4:35]Firstly, for our stats, we are going to level up Willpower to 100. I recommend going to Star Swap Valley and grinding Treasure Infestation jobs to level up your character.
[4:44]If you fall to the depths, I can also recommend just doing jobs in the city. It will cap at 75 if you haven't uncapped it before.
[4:51]If you haven't yet, go to my video on how to unlock origins and do the Deepbound origin quest, which by doing this on 75 Willpower, it will uncapped your Willpower, and then it can be leveled to 100.
[5:01]For all stats except for attunement and weapons, you will only ever have to unbound stats on your character once.
[5:08]And from then, it will auto unlock once you hit 75 on every character slot after. Important pre-shrine talents to look out for is Piercing Will and Emergency Reserves.
[5:16]And because we are using blindseer for this build, you will want all the Mental Fortress talents as well.
[5:21]Dawnwalker is also a good alternative if you think you'll do more diluvian or hell mode than boss grinding.
[5:25]For zero star mantras, you'll take Burning Servants, Frozen Servants, and Warden's Blades.
[5:29]If you are running attunementless, you can just go take two for the first five mantra cards.
[5:33]And from then if you don't have your attunements yet, get your potions before you reach Power 10.
[5:37]Make sure to foretell the mantras that you need for the highest chance possible of getting them. If you do get a mantra that you don't need, you can swap it out later at the Minityrsa at Deep Shrine.
[5:44]For your top right stats, we will go six Vitality, two Erudition, and four Songchant, so our mantras can do most of the damage.
[5:51]If you notice you are leveling a bit slower, you can change to doing depth jobs in the city once you're more leveled.
[5:56]Next, level your Fortitude to 100. At 75, go to Fort Merritt and talk to Brutus. He will knock you down, and once you get up, you will get your Fortitude unbound.
[6:03]Important for pre-shrine talents to get our Reinforced Armor, not a scratch, and you absolutely have to take Brick Wall once both your Willpower and Fortitude are at 100.
[6:12]This will prevent you from ever getting ragdolled until your health reaches zero.
[6:15]Next we want 25 Charisma for Charismatic Cast and Tough Love. This will give you a little bit of extra defense and damage.
[6:21]And finally, make sure we have one point in your heavy weapon before we use the Shrine of Order.
[6:25]Post Shrine, put 40 into Flame. We need Flame Wisp, Relentless Flames, and Flame Assault for our mantras.
[6:30]We need Flame Within for our talent for the extra damage that the talent tool will give us, as well as Cauterized Wounds, Unyielding Inferno, Agitating Spark, Immolation, Phoenix Flames, Will-o'-Wisp, Pleetsky's Faith, and Flaming Flourish.
[6:51]Flash Boil for our talent cards. Flash Boil does a lot of damage to our enemies, so this will absolutely be needed.
[6:57]If your innate stats are not in agility or intelligence at this point, you may go 40 Frost Draw. Otherwise, subtract your innate talents from your Frost Draw and put the rest of your 75 points into Heavy Weapon.
[7:05]Our weapon of choice is the Enforcer's Axe, a very versatile weapon for its amazing guard breaking, multi-hit critical attack.
[7:12]Now that your build is maxed out, we can go to Saramead Hollow, a safer place to grind out enchant stones and good gear.
[7:17]You'll be looking for Ignition Gauntlets, Heavy Plate, so that in Deluvian-based PvE, you can parry attacks that are not normally parryable.
[7:23]For your enchant stone, while Astral is technically the best PvE enchant, it cannot be obtained from Saramead Hollow, and is very rare drop from where it normally comes from.
[7:30]So Providence Thorns, Vampirism, and Grim are the better options, or use Wild if you plan on doing Deluvian mainly.
[7:36]For our outfit, run the Black Diver outfit or the Prophet's Cloak. The Black Diver gives you better defense, but the Prophet's Cloak gives you some chip damage on enemies with armor. It's whatever you prefer.
[7:46]And at that point, the build is complete. I won't tell you how to defeat each and every boss in the game with this build.
[7:51]There are lots of other guides from more experienced Deepwoken YouTubers than I am, but regardless, I hope you enjoyed this video. Make sure to like and subscribe, and if you're on mobile, hype the video as well.
[8:00]And once again, if you're interested on how to unlock all the origins in Deepwoken, check out this video here.
