[0:00]It is interesting to me because when you think about it, we were never taught this in school. Right, like it's never really been a curriculum of like how to build wealth or how to keep wealth. You know, it's always been about, you know, the grind, go to school, get a good job, retire. But it's interesting to me that in our society, even when you talk about generational wealth, right? It's often passed down, but then it's often lost in the second or third generation. So it's like even if you, you know, do leave your family a large inheritance or whatever the case may be. Like, I think it's important to not only teach them how to acquire wealth, but also teach them how to maintain it. And that's often where the disconnect is. Like we just don't know how to keep it and make it grow. Yeah, yeah, you you hit on something that's so important that, you know, our parents didn't have conversations with us about money. So for most of us, we didn't learn about money until we started making it. And by then, it's usually too late because we've picked up bad habits, you know, along the way. And we have to unlearn those. And it's a lot harder to unlearn something than it is to just go in with a fresh slate and learn it for the first time. So I definitely think that's true that, you know, our parents didn't sit us down and say, hey, this is how you manage a budget. This is how you spend. This is how you save. This is how you invest. You know, none of us got that as kids. And that's why it's so important that you and I do what we do. Right? I mean, think about it too. Like, it's not even talked about in our education system. You know, when do you remember ever having a financial literacy class? I think I had one my senior year of high school, and it was like a semester. Right. And so it's like how much are you really going to retain? And how much are you really going to learn in such a short period of time? I think it needs to be, you know, a continuous thing that is taught to us, you know, starting at a young age. And then it grows with us. Right. It needs to grow with us until we're, you know, adults. And even still, you know, as adults, we should still be continuously learning, you know, about financial literacy and how to just, you know, acquire and keep wealth. So I think that's where the disconnect is. You know, we're not taught how to acquire it and how to keep it.
