[0:08]So recently, guys, I've stayed in 12 different hotels here in Pattaya. Yeah, not all of them were great decisions. So if you are planning a trip and wondering where to stay, this is for you. I'll show you the real check-ins, the actual rooms, and after each one, the honest pros and cons, no sugar coating. Most are budget, right in the middle of the action, a few feel a bit more luxury, but still affordable. And yes, one of them claims to be five-star for under $30. We'll check it together. At the end, I will give you my top three so you know exactly where to book and what to avoid. All right, starting from the first hotel, this is a budget chain, you'll find it all over Thailand from Phuket to Krabi to Pattaya. So it's pretty common choice. Let me show you the check-in and the hotel first, then I'll break down the pros and cons. So it's very easy to reach this hotel. As you can see, you just drop out in front of Pattaya Avenue and from here, you walk inside Major Cineplex, you're not going to watch a movie. And once you are out, just turn right, and here we are. This is the hotel.
[1:42]Sawasdee cup. All right, so you have to go outside and take a walk, you know, just like Make sure you check out the front of the radio car.
[1:53]So this is the hotel Kokotel, one of the budget hotels, not only in Pattaya, you have in Phuket, Krabi, Bangkok, so if you want to stay in budget hotels, don't forget Kokotel. Now, let's check our room. We are staying at the fifth floor. Welcome. This is our room. I'm sure you are going to get surprised because it's a really nice place with a very special price. This is the bed. We're going to check it if it's smooth. A space to work. The toilet, shower. Everything seems clean, very neat. The towels, the logo of this hotel is a ship.
[2:59]As you can see, no smoking, 5,000 Thai Baht. And this is the closet.
[3:10]A refrigerator. Definitely there is nothing inside. And of course, coffee-making machine. They don't have water. In this hotel, they save the planet. So, check this out. Check out water dispenser on your floor. Let me show you the balcony.
[3:37]This is it. That's the pool. No view. And you can say hello to your neighbors from the balcony. Hello. Yeah, you can make friends here. So as I mentioned, this is one of those budget hotels. You'll find it all over Thailand, not just Pattaya. Location is solid about three minutes from Walking Street, surrounded by bars and nightlife. I'll give it seven out of ten. The room is actually quite suspicious for the price, comfortable, with a small balcony and even a pool. Breakfast is available too, very basic but affordable. Downside, not much really, small balcony, no view, but overall for the price is a solid choice. The second hotel, a very budget friendly. And part of a common chain, you'll find it in different areas. I'll show you the hotel first, then we'll talk about my real impressions. So this is it. That's Soi 5, and we came from that crazy Soi, Soi 6. This is the beach, and this is the entrance of this hotel. As you can see, there is another hotel along the way. It's called The Season Pattaya, and this is the sign of the hotel. It's called March Hotel. Sawasdee cup. Sawasdee cup. Sawasdee cup. This is it, guys. What do you think? From outside, it seems perfect for $12 per night or 15, maybe, according to the season and availability. As you can see, it's a really good place for the price that we have paid. The bed is okay. You have a couch here to sit. As I said, they have upgraded us pool view. Let's check it.
[5:27]So, where is the pool? What a view! That's the pool. This is the road, and that way is the beach road. So the location is really nice. You have a space to sit here. The balcony is good, you know. Let's go inside because it's super hot. So all in all, a place to work, a TV. Let's check the bathroom. What about the fridge? Empty, two complimentary water. Safe box. Big space to put your stuff.
[6:02]And this is the bathroom. Clean, neat. You have everything you need. So hair dryer. And of course, a shower. So yeah, this is March Hotel. Great location, close to the action, but still quiet when you need it. I think it's 8 over 10. Very affordable, but the room is on the smaller side. Nothing fancy, just the basics. Still overall, solid hotel for the price.
[6:35]Third hotel, same chain as before. Can be very budget in low season, but generally, it's still affordable. Let's check it out, then I give you my thoughts. This is the place. So, Sawasdee cup. Sawasdee cup. So Sawasdee cup. I want to check in. Yes. So, Sawasdee cup. Okay, so we are at the 21st floor. Okay. So, this is August Suites Pattaya, one of the five-star hotels that you can grab it at a very, very affordable price. My room number is 2112.
[7:09]Let me give you a quick tour about the room. I really like hotels that they have a couch, because I don't like only the bed, so you can sit, relax. The space is quite big. This is the bed. It's okay. You know, in Thailand, the beds are not too much soft, but this one is good and seems comfortable. You have a TV, a place to sit and work. You have a big space here. I don't know for what. A refrigerator. Two complimentary bottles of water. Coffee-making machine. A lots of places to put your stuff. Closet, closet, closet, and here you have the safe box. And here a place to check yourself before you go out. Now, this is the bathroom. Clean. And you have everything you need. Of course, a shower.
[8:05]Even you have two toothbrushes. And check this out. This is the view. Swimming pool. Actually, they have upgraded me. And you can see that Hilton, that's Pattaya Central Beach Road. The location is very strategic, especially if you love to party. So this is August Hotel. Definitely one of the best options if you catch it with a good price. Big suspicious room, nice pool views, very quiet at night. And location, I can give it 9 over 10. Only issue, it feels up quickly in high season. But overall, a great stay.
[16:29]All right, seventh hotel, this was actually a nice surprise. I got upgraded, and right away the impression was really good. Let's check it out first, then I tell you what I think. This is Soi 4, and on the opposite side, you have Soi 6. From here, you have to walk around 300 m to the hotel. Actually, I've stayed in this Soi before. You see that Altera Hotel. I've stayed here, I think, last year. It's a nice hotel. But our hotel for tonight is located a little bit further. So that's our hotel, Nova Gold Hotel. 7-Eleven, the main Soi, and that's the hotel.
[17:15]This is the swimming pool. Yeah, only this. And this is just on the main road.
[19:45]So this is Nova Gold Hotel. Really nice stay, especially after the upgrade. Big room, comfortable and affordable. Only small downside is about 10 minutes walk to the beach, but you're close to everything and it's quiet at night.
