거기에 질문 주신 거를 한번 답해 보면 bakça çok çok like this the whole thing. It cost 7,001. like it's so overpriced, but she gave me this and I'm like, oh, I was such a sweet girl.
[1:21]Um, we don't really see that to each other, but yeah, she's a sweet girl and then I gave it a bite.
[1:45]It was interesting, but even before I ate it all, I instantly know that I wouldn't really like this because first of all, I am not a fan of chocolate. Yes, I mean I like sweet things, but I like caramel sweet more than chocolate sweet. I know that two bite on the cookie only has a little bit of chocolate like a powder on the outside, but still it has chocolate. And then second of all, I hate pistachio.
[2:14]It's not like I'm allergic to it, but I just don't like the taste. I just don't get it. Sorry. And um yeah, it's the combination of those two. Maybe I should try one more time, you know, like my friends have told me that, oh, I didn't like it either at first, but I ended up liking it and I ended up making it by myself. I'm like, really, okay, I might give it another try but not any time soon. So I have tried it. Um, I have tried it. Um, I'm. Um, these days, oh my god, these days I don't really listen to any music do I? I might as well just share what I like the most, which is. Oh my god. This guys, if you guys love the arcade five songs, and this is it. This is something that you're looking for. Um, I've listened to this more than a thousand times, more than like 1500 times. I bet. And actually, the thing that you see over there, that's my piano and that's my headphone, which means I can play my piano at night in the middle of the night. And one of my hobbies is to just listen to the songs and then play them by ear. And this song is so fun to play. because it has like I don't even know how to say it in Korea. It's like I don't even know how to say it. I don't even know how to say it. I don't even know how to say it.
[3:47]I actually have stopped listening to for a long time but from like last year at the last year I started I started listening to this desperately devoted podcast.
[4:00]This is actually oh my god. you guys know that I am such a big fan of Desperate Housewives. I've been watching the show for 8 years straight. I still watch them sometimes and two of the characters from the show, Susan and Julie and Susan's actor is Terry Hatter and Terry Hatter's actual daughter like three of them made this podcast called desperately devoted and they're just like going over some of the episodes and sometimes they invite the guests uh which are the stars who showed up in that show. And then they talk about the show, the BTS and the every every other story that's related to that show and sometimes maybe the actor's personal life, like what they feel about some scenes, like stuff like that. It's so entertaining to listen to it and then it's so nostalgic because the first season was out in 2004. It has been more than 20 years now. I think Tom's Go was the first ever guest on that show and like the moment that I heard his voice, it's like very nostalgic. Like I feel like I don't know. It's just like okay, so he has his own he has his Tom's coffee voice but that it's a little bit old, but still Tom's coffee voice. I'm like, oh Tom, you're old now. I think it's an entertaining show especially if you're a fan of Desperate Housewife, but sometimes they talk a bit too fast. I mean, the iOS podcast would divide the transcript along with the audio. I think most of the majority of the podcast will um now now has a transcript uh function or feature or whatever. But uh even with the transcript, sometimes it feels a bit too fast and then because the guests are mostly just invited through Zoom, I guess, the audio quality can be sometimes bad. So what I would recommend instead of this, still we're talking about Desperate Housewise by the way, is Desperate Housewise rewatch. Yes, this one. I'm not sure if if I said it correctly. Um yes, this is actually two British people. I think they're a couple. May couple, I don't know. The woman has already watched the whole show, but the man, presumably her husband has never watched the show. So his brand new to this show. So they're going over one episode by one episode every episode of their podcast and then talk about what had happened. So I think like the reason why I recommend this channel is because like even though you didn't watch as well, they will walk you through every scene. So they would describe what they're doing for example like, enter the house and then set something to. Like they would just like narrate everything, every scene in that episode. So you can pick up how to describe certain actions in English, like which is so great and then if you already have watched, you can enjoy the first viewers perspective along with the rewatchers knowledge. Like I I've watched the the whole seasons like several times, but then I still learn new things from the woman's perspective. I'm like, whoa, that is some. Yeah, it's so fun. So if you're a fan of, even if you're not, just give it a watch and you can also enjoy British accent. My British accent sucks, but yeah, just go enjoy it. And other than the house, the channel that I I would recommend is pretty basic. I used to listen to that for quite a long time, I think. I have stopped watching it because I just cannot handle their energy anymore. They're just like a little too loud for me, but very energetic. So if that's your vibe, go for it. And sometimes if I need some, um, I don't know, like I don't really enjoy self-help books anymore.
[7:58]Like I used to read a lot of self self help books. I was like in my early 20s or something. I'm just very skeptical about self help books these days, but um Mel Robbins's podcast is very nice for a beginner English learner to listen to because she speaks very clearly and you know how like this self help she is very repetitive and she repeats some of the things that she said she said earlier later on the show too. So I think this repetition is really helpful if you're learning English. So go ahead and watch listen not watch. Oh my god, the podcast. Yes. Go ahead and listen to Mel Robbins. I even have her book, let them theory, but I couldn't bother to read it. Sorry. MBT. My MBT is and FP or IFP. So my F is just fixed, but I think I'm in the middle of and. Um. Okay, so then, I'm just like so into I think I've already talked about this and Alex's podcast and today actually I filmed another podcast with him and I talked about Halloween night this game that I've started like few months ago like a lot in his I feel kind of sorry but I just couldn't help but because that's something that I'm really, really into these days. Um, I mean like I'm not as into it as I was when I just started playing it.
[9:39]I don't play the game anymore. I just like do everything else that I could do than playing games because you waste so much time and energy on that game if you start playing it. So like I right now, I have my Nintendo. Oops. I have several games, but I think the order of the game has reset. I I don't know why. But here we go. The whole night and this game. Oh my god. I love it so much. And you know how much I love this show. I'm in my own room so I can show you this. This is my diary. I got it from Starbucks this year. I I bought the sticker and I clipped it and I attached it on the cover so that I can see this beautiful characters a little more. And even here, I don't want to show what's on my diary, but here I have Hornet on the corner. And sometimes I try it. Yeah. Actually, what I was going to say is that I don't really watch any videos on YouTube other than Hollow Knight play through or Hollow Knight song play through, speed run. I do want to recommend YouTube channel. So I'm going to try to make a separate video of me recommending YouTube channel. Um, because I am 100% sure there were a lot of YouTube channels that I got a lot of help from in terms of English speaking, but right now, what I want to say to you is that instead of waiting for me to recommend you to YouTube channels, go ahead and explore what you are interested in. You know what I mean? So if you are a fan of holo night or if you are a fan of animal crossing, just search whatever it is, just search holo night. So just search holo night on YouTube and there will be a lot of videos that will pop up. And I am mainly watching Papa Zoo's channel for holo night play through because it's like so cute. I mean, like He's so relatable. When he does well, he's just like, oh, I'm him. I'm I'm so good. But then when he when he fails, when he dies, and he goes like, oh my god, this game sucks and it's so relatable. And I love that he is not, he's like good at playing games, but he's not as good as like the other God gamers who is like out of rage. He's really good, but he also takes us longer time as I do to beat these bosses and it's very relatable. So he but he's actually very small. but I I love his videos like that's how you find your niche guys. So go ahead, even if they have only few hundred subscribers, they might have really like gold content. They talk about something that aligns with your interest and that is something that you need to start watching, but I will try to make a video. I promise. I just yesterday, I started watching the show called Bo Jackman on Netflix. It's an American show, but I cannot even say that I like this show yet because I only watched two episodes and during the second episode, I kind of fell asleep because I was so tired from the pot coma, blah blah blah. But yeah, I don't really know what it is about. But I think it's pretty funny. I I heard that this is a lot darker than it looks like. So the main character Bo Jack Horseman is actually a horse, which is funny and um, he used to be a really famous popular star from the Sitcom called around. Yeah, and then you know this kind of person who used to be really famous but nothing now. So his is nothing now type of person. Yeah, it's pretty dark. But fun enough. Yeah, I got to keep watching to see if I really like it or not, but so far, two episodes end, so good. Um other than, I'm watching a lot of like British shows these days. For example, the IT crowd, the inbetweers, the taskmasters, oh my god, the inbetweers. If you know what the show was about I think you're going to judge me because it's very crude but it's fun.
[13:38]These are the old pretty shows like from the early 2000s still. I think I I think my vibe is like early 2000s. Desert housewise and the IT crowd. I know the IT crowd. I love this show so much. If you're into comedy comedy type of show. This is the show for you. I highly recommend this. It's said in an IT department of a big company where like tech guys are like socially awkward and they're kind of like disconnected from the normal life but then you know everything they do is like so funny and hilarious and all the humor here are actually like exaggerated and awkward and absurd and kind of like cringe. So if you're into this kind of stuff you can actually find it on YouTube. They're all out. I think they're all out for free. They're only like 30 minutes long for each chapter and they don't really have many seasons. I heard that British shows have less seasons and less episodes than uh American TV shows if I'm not wrong.
[14:50]I think the way that I do is to train the algorithm on the social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube or whatever that is around my interesting. So I actually talked about this with Alex today while we're filming the second video, so stay tuned for that. Um, I showed him that my Instagram algorithm is just full of my full of the books and on YouTube is just Halloween night. It must have been a bit different before because I was into a different game, Animal Crossing for example. When I was into that game, um, my whole YouTube was just about that. So the only thing that could be uncomfortable to you is to search every thing in English and then set your algorithm, train your algorithm to recommend these videos that are aligned with your interests. So, you know how algorithm is considered as a problem in terms of like keeping people biased. So let's say you search A on YouTube. The next thing you know is that the algorithm just shows you whatever videos that are related to only A and it can make you and let's just use that feature to our advantage. There must be something they're interested in. If you like to buy the cookie, that's where you start. Instead of just watching Korean people reviewing to buy the cookie, just go on YouTube and then search to buy cookie, whatever. Um I know that this is a Korean thing, but who knows it might have gone viral in other countries already and then they might talk about like, oh, Korea is currently crazy about this, like small but expensive over priced Jundoo cookie. Let's go see what the hype around is about ourselves. Yes, and then if you watch one or two videos and you know you already know many things about to watch on the cookie, what it's made of and um what it tastes like and stuff like that. You can actually learn a lot of phrases that can describe that in English. And if you keep on watching those videos related to the Jundoo cookie, one after another and another, The algorithm is trained that way. That's how you start setting your algorithm to your advantage.
[17:10]I mean mid-way. Never ever don't even think of doing a thing. If you want to improve your speaking skills, I mean usually I am very careful in sharing my own study method because this is for me it could be different to others, but this one for sure I wouldn't recommend you to buy because first of all, is not fun. It's not fun. And secondly, even if you know what this word means, you cannot think right away that this can be used in this situation and that situation in that situation. Like one word can be used in so many different contexts, like it's so much more efficient to learn it from the context than go the other way around. And then third, there's no third, there's only two. But if you are very beginner. I think like if you don't even know how to say like, "Hackseng, Alda, Saqa, then I think it's worth memorizing the most commonly used English words, top 200 or top 1000, whatever. I think it's like you can find it anywhere on Google for free. You don't even need to buy or pay for Tanjong anymore. Like I'm so anti Tanjong unless you're aiming for a good score in certain exams, I think Tanjong is like useless unless you make your own Tanjong. that is very effective but buying the 2026. My goal this year is to reveal habits and consistency.
[18:47]Instead of chasing visible results, I want to focus on creating a life rhythm. So I have like three tears, top priority and secondary goals and experiment zone.
[19:00]So let's go over The top priority so it's a success if these things are done. First of all, limit social media doom scrolling. Instead of adding more tasks, cutting doom scrolling on social media is what I made my priority as it's the main source of comparison, anxiety and emotional exhaustion. And number two, one or max two non-negotiable daily habit. Like a doilingo, like to the doilingo level. And what I meant by that is that I have been doing doilingo for 240 plus stays straight and you know how doilingo makes you feel so uncomfortable if you don't do it, like it will send you some messages like weird messages and like that, I'll have one or two goals maximum that makes me feel uncomfortable if I don't do it if I skip them. And my secondary goals, like three times a week is enough. You don't have to do it every day, it's just secondary, but if you do it three times a week, good job, type of goals is that first of all, any form of exercise that gives me energy. So I am actually thinking of going back to the gym either that or starting swimming again. And number two, extra skin care and body care. Like I always have this all or nothing kind of mindset. I can be really lazy when it comes like skin care. So like I only have like one or two steps of skin care and that's it. And in my mind it's like all or nothing every time. So if you want to do your skin care, do it every day. otherwise your skin will stay shit. So there's no point of doing it. That's just how I think about it, but I am trying to change how like change how I view this skin care thing, just three times of intensive skin care a week. She be enough and I am actually doing that. So three times a week I do sometimes I do exfoliate, sometimes do the poor cleaning and sometimes I do the like a very thick um facial mask thing. And number three of secondary goals is that spending about 20% of my available time on future oriented learning. I haven't really started this yet, but I want to study like finance, investment for my future. And the the tier three, no guilt if skipped. You don't feel any guilt because it's an experiment zone and that is learning new skills. Um, I want to focus one skill per quarter, but I haven't started anything yet. It's the almost the end of January, but um, yeah, I haven't started it. So quarter one, I would just say Japanese because that's what I've been doing on and quarter two Maybe I might learn how to use Final Cut Pro or Premier Pro. Um so far I think probably this video too. I am editing on my phone which is convenient but if I want to keep making videos I think I have to learn and know how to use these tools. So that's going to be my target for a second quarter this year. In quarter three and four still nothing but I want to learn cello and I want to learn how to bake Um but I don't know if I'm ever going to do it, but this I don't feel guilty. I shouldn't feel guilty. Um even if I don't do it because it's just an experiment for this year. And I actually wrote down how to stay consistent and I think it's really nice and I want to share with you guys. First of all, missing days doesn't mean failure. I mean, I cannot stress this enough. Actually one of the questions that I didn't go over today is that that's that's I think this is it. I would say to for example my sister that oh it's okay like you can just miss one day or two, it's fine, you can still come back and show up that's what matters, but then I have never been that generous to myself. I always like it's all or nothing. If you miss today like that's a failure, like I'm so disappointed and you blah blah blah. But I'm going to be a little more generous than that this year and tell I'm going to tell myself missing days doesn't mean failure. back counts as success. Don't count how many times you broke the streak, count how many times you come back. And number two, set very low minimum standards. So for example, exercise, it still counts if I only stretch for five minutes. I know, I know that this doesn't count to some people, but for me because I'm lazy and it comes to exercising. I think five minutes of stretching is also get me the the right amount of motivation and happiness that I feel like oh my god. Um I think today wasn't so bad. And number three, track only done and not done no emotional judgment. So actually I have so this is my reading status for January. Um sometimes I sked but most of the times I did it. I'm very proud of myself but even if I sked on my for three days in a row. This is actually my mistake. I actually read on this day. Um, yeah, this is consistency. Like you don't need to be successful. You don't need you don't have to show up every day, um, and you don't judge for not showing up. You just track what's done and not done. And yeah, that's what I'm going to be, um, telling myself and that's the type of person that I want to become this year and those are the for this year. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. 10 years. I think I would choose the former. I don't know, I might change my mind if I rage 60, but that's like I really want to stay healthy.
[25:40]It's just kind of paradoxical because I don't do any exercise, but that's all the more reason to start exercising. And these days I'm actually worried about my eye condition like eye health. It's not like I have any problems with them yet, but I am worried that if I use them, um, at this rate, I think they're going to give about any time soon, you know, like if I keep watching or reading something on the screen and not letting them rest, like that is a recipe before a disaster, recipe before a disease. So I'm going to take a better care of my eyes and all other parts of my body, of course. So I want to be a healthy human. And number two, this is kind of related to the first one. I want to become a human who keeps on learning new things. even if I'm old, um, because I want to prevent dementia from happening to me. I think this is one of the most tragic diseases one person can never get. I know that this is genetic, but as far as I know it doesn't run in my family, luckily. So I want to prevent it from happening. I think it's so tragic to lose all of your memories, um, just because you're old. It's also a very sad thing for the rest of family too. So yeah. And then learning new things, learning especially new languages can prevent dementia a lot. So I want to keep on learning new things. And the last one number three, I want to become a. So especially like on transport public transportation for example, I think there are two types of elderly. First group, very gentle, very nice, very kind, like they are kind-hearted when young people gave their seats to them, they are nice enough to ask them for carrying their stuff and say thank you all the time. Not loud, they don't talk loudly. Um and there's just like gentle in general and the other group who does everything on the opposite way. And I don't want to fall into this group. I don't want to be a part of it. I want to be a in this group. Um so that society still wants to help me if I need help. Um yeah. So it's a problem.
